First cfl grow

So I'm trying to keep this already tall plant from getting any taller, I'm not too sure on how to do that so if anyone could give tips I'd appreciate it.
I'm growing under a 60 watt cfl bulb and I'm not too sure how big the container is.
I'll update this thread with pics as the plants cycle goes on.

First time CFL grower myself. Ive noticed that keeping the lights as close as possible without causing light stress or heat stress prevents the plant from stretching towards the light. I find a low hanging light encourages horizontal growth rather than vertical growth but it depends on your light spectrum and the amount of lights you have. I also suggest side lighting with cfls all around the plant. I have a feminized lemon kush just growing now and i have 4 26W CFLs shining on top of the plant with 2 13 watts and a Led as side lighting. Nodes are super tight and bud sites are beginning to heavily develop. She also reeks to high heavens. on my 6th week of veg and im switching to flower in three days. Just transplanted her to a 5 gallon bucket last night

So, bad news here.
I changed over to a 3 bulb setup and the lamp ended up tipping over into my plant and burning a few leaves, as well as the main stem. I am kind of unsure what to do with this plant right now. I also started fertilizing yesterday right before this happened.

You will be okay.

Growing seems to have come to a halt for this plant. Its over a month old. Any tips on how to fix my stem?
i would let it try to heal. No more stressing it untill it bounces back. But dont touch your lst string either. It will be stunted for a week or so with slow growth but she is old enough to bounce back.

Alright, will do. Also any tips on cloning? How long should the clones be and what's the easiest way to start them rooting? Not from this plant

Try to grow one without stretching before cloning.

Bottom line its tall because there is not enough light.

When you start with one bulb it needs to be like an inch from the plant, even as a sprout. Also keep the bulb on its side. But yea, you need at least 4-6 bulbs for veg and 6-8 for flower.

Your plant probably stretched because the CFL was too far away from the plant. And probably more CFLs needed. 60w wont cut it. Have you been doing LST to help out with the stretch?

I have more bulbs on it now, the snap is still there and the root seems to be losing the green and fading into purple. Green from the snap and up towards the leaves its turning purple. Will update with pictures asap.
