First cfl grow, new homeade setup

Had a big incident happen when my mother found out about my grow in her shed. However, the shed was giving me really bad heat problems and contributed to a good vegging grow..=( ne ways, i went to home depot bought a shit ton of pvc piping and T fittings and built my own grow room inside my fricken room away from my moms paranoid mind!

I got 4 pack of 23 watt cfl which are 60w daylight n:nvidia or something like that... hooked them up to garden lights with Y socket fittings.
IS This Enough for a veg room? i have a 400w hps light for the flower room on top of my veg room.

I have only 1 Bigbud mild veg growing and 1 LR#2 seedling. Cuz of the heat being max 114F in the shed i was like watching my babies burn to death. sad as it may seem i learned from this and will never do it again.

qUESTIONS..seedling is about 1 and a half old does it look ok so far...
Big buds stem is a little purple at the top what is this from? And the leaves are burning from the sides what is this from?

Please if you can answer my questions with these pics and ill post most of the ones i took today...

400 is overkill but it will work fine for 1 plant. Be sure and don't get in a hurry to feed them nutes till there good and healthy. A good potting soil supplies plenty of nutes for veg. Looks like you got a good little setup there. Small closet a 400 hps is going to have a heat issue.

get those lights like 2-3 inches above the plants,check with your hand for heat.. you need ALOT of light..

some pics of the new grow setup i made. should i put another Y socket inthe other y socket and make open 1 more spot to put maybe a 100 w cfl? these 60w cfl give off 630 lumens each is that ok so far for these to i got now?

Mylar has just been ordered will be here soon, so maybe the lighting getting through wont be a situation afterwards.

Question.. will the mylar be thick enough to trap the light in there, so it wont get out? i bought 50ft x 50in 1 mil is that ok?

-yes it IS sick, literally. Lay off the nutes, or whatever your using. Thats some BAD burning.

ok well i have just been using regular water for it and it seemsto just be burnin onthe SIDE ofthe leaves only but im fixin to put them under 12/12 cuz that bigbud is almost 20 in high and has been growing for about 2 months now. plus my fricken mom found the contraption in my room well how could you missit shes just worriedbout losing her house so i had to convert the 2 roomsto one room in my cabinet will post pics soon. they are doing ok but my mom shut the light off 2 days in a row so they were like not on regular light schedule and i turned them on at 3pm when igot home. till bout 1230 am then they cut off and she didit again so......am i fucked for life cuz i dont want to tie this big bud down but i ahve to to keep it in the cabinet, ne one know how much i might yield if i tie one bigbud female down when flowering?
