Day 58

Harvested my bag seed, so this GSC girl has the tent all to herself right now. I'll be switching to a 18/6 light schedule as well, figure that might help pack on a little extra weight. Thoughts?

Germinating 2 seeds via Paper towel. One GSC and one Blue Dream. I'll get them planted in 3 gallon grow bags once they sprout.

Personally i like how my autos do on 24/0. Now im only on my 2nd run since switching from photos so can't differentiate 24 from 18/20 on but it has worked out well so far so why change? Mephisto actually use 24 hours on their seeds so thats why i use it because they know their stuff best. As long as they are getting 18 or more they are going to be good. These are 2 Mephisto i have going atm in 2 liter bottles of coco just to pass the rest of the 80s and 80-90% humid days left here before another big plants grow. They are 18 days old under 24 hours and very nicely so far.

Day 59

This plant is almost done. It's crazy how fast this finished. It has very few white hairs left and most the red hairs have receded or are beginning to.

I watered today. Just h2o. I'm going to try and get 3 plain rounds of water in before harvest. I'll water again in 3 days, then 6 days. In 7 days, I will shut the lights off for 24-48. Then chop chop!

I know it's too late in flower to do anything about it now...... but the top leaves (everything above the main cola) have all turned a half rusty brown color and are pretty brittle. This is the SAME EXACT thing that happened to my bag seed plant. That tells me it is not a strain specific thing. My environment is causing that.

It's got to be my lack of intake/fresh air. My temperatures between the plant and the LED are getting too hot. That's the most logical reason for the top leaves to be burnt and crispy. Rather than just use 2 9'' fans to blow air into the tent, I'm going to purchase a 2nd 4'' carbon filter with 4'' fan. I'll have my replace carbon filter for next year and I'll have a 4'' fan I can use for intake.

Pics. Couple pics of my rusty leaves too. Pics don't do it justice. A few are crumbly brittle.

How close do you keep the lights? And burples get WAYYYY hotter than QB/COB so they produce more heat for sure.

I kept it 24'' away early on. Maybe I need to do it the other way around? Close when it's young to keep it nice and tight. Further away in flower?

Maybe because it probably gives off way too much heat if super close.

Moved it to 18'' away. Not sure if it will have an effect on this plant, but we shall see

Day 60

Second day of 18/6 lighting. Tent looks empty with just one 19 inch plant.

GSC has large enough taproot to pot, so I did. BD still needs a day. We will call this day 1 for this grow.

This has to be the best looking buds I've ever grown indoors. Small yield but it's gonna be good shit.

Looking at it, I could probably harvest today haha. I will probably harvest Sunday at day 63. Sure was a quick finish, maybe because it was 12/12 from seed?

Lower bud sites are starting to turn mostly red. We will see if it is done on Sunday. No rush if it is not done yet.

Blue Dream was potted this morning, Girl Scout Cookie potted yesterday. Both of them have the seed shell poking out of the soil already. They are about 24'' away from the light. 18/6 lighting, I'll be watering every 3 days.

Fastbuds Blue Dream auto

This will be my first sativa plant I've grown. I guess my GSC will finish well before the BD.

Ill be watching. Ive been contemplating buying those. Those and/or HSO Auto BD since i liked the photo.

Day 62

Today would be the scheduled water day, but I think I'm harvesting Sunday or Monday. I haven't decided yet, thoughts?

Little ones are stretching up, the shell will probably fall off today.

I soaked the soil 24 hrs before potting soil I haven't water yet. The soil was dry on top so I poured a very small amount around the middle of the pot.
