This is my set up. It’s alittle tote with two air stones. About 5 gal r/o 150 ppm great white, plantacillin, low nutrients and a heating pad. I’m impressed with the results so far its only been one day and I can see tiny roots popping on two of them.

Wow after 1 day. Can you elaborate what great white and plantacillin is and best place to pick up some. I'm doing the same type bubbler but just straight tap water and it's taking 5-7 days

Not a root. Lol. It takes at LEAST 10 days for nubs. Lose the heating pad. Also, you'd be a lot better off putting a submersible pump in there with a manifold and some spray nozzles turning on/off every 15 mins.(alternate up and down with the tabs on a timer) Aero cloning yields better than DWC. Just my $0.02 though.

So I scrapped it and started over I kept the two with the biggest roots and transferred them to soulless mix to see how easy it was DC40694B-A193-48F1-A7DE-A7B3AE43B5D5.jpeg

This next round I’m going to try clippings of my rdwc girls two weeks into flower. I’m interested to see if they root faster I thought I read somewhere that they root quicker when they are a week or two into flower9DDA95CA-8726-4D20-8FE1-6572BA1BD551.jpeg

Quicker roots occur when you have low Nitrogen
I also like to use distilled or R/O water
I keep my root zone higher temps than the tops
Pure water works best no additives

I tried the pure water route the first time it didn’t work for me just got slime. Do you have to change the water every week. Because I’m going on almost 3 weeks with out changing my water and it’s still looking and smells great. With the bennies in it. Has some foam around the edges. That’s it.

I rarely change it just a few drops of bleach or I use pool shock just a grain or two
Those bennies only slow rooting effort IMO

My buddy swears you only need RO and bleach too, but I tried it with hydroguard, some rooting hormone and tap water (with high salt content from my softner) and I had 100% roots in 10 days in the aero-cloner I built, same time as his took in similar home-built aero setup. We both never changed the water, both our systems work with water pumps and spray nozzles that are on 100% of the time. Seems in these systems you can use all different kinds of water? I haven't experimented enough to notice a time difference yet as I just built mine too.
