First Attempt at SCROG Question ?

Hello I was planning on making a scrog net and wanted to know how big the holes should be on the net ?
And looking at my plants should I place it right on top of them or a bit above and let things grow through ?
Any advice appreciated

5x5cm but generally depends on the size of your plants. Also you can keep the screen as low as you want, although within reasonable boundries. You should have enough space to do general maintanence and watering.

But those vids HotrodHarley posted are fantastic, check them out.

I'm doing my first scrog on my 2nd run on nft








1 clone never made it and daft me never had a spare

I will need a bit advice when I start filling the net

the main issue you've got is none of those are even topped. You usually gotta top real early to be most efficient

2-3" Squares
8-10" above the dirt/container (you need to get in under there to trim popcorn bud and leaves.)

The idea is to fill 80% of the squares with evenly heightened colas, before flipping to 12/12 and the best way to get that many colas is FIMing and Topping (a few weeks ago to be honest) as EBC mentioned above.

I'm < 7 days from flipping to 12/12 myself.
Short and stocky to fill the most squares is the goal.
