First Aerogarden/Supplement CFL/Bulb Grow (Is This Even a Marijuana Plant?)

So, I'm on about 10 days so far with these plants. I would appreciate if my brothers here could solve these mysteries for me -

Is this plant even a Marijuana plant. (It's a long story, I'll explain later how it got into my Aerogarden)



What is up with the yellowing inside the leaves? Just started today, I noticed I thre half of a "starting Ingredients" nute inside the res (3 pod res) and the roots of THIS plant (most problems so far) were wrapped around the nute (LOL), so I put a tab to a gallon ratio and changed the res just now.



And this is my entire garden (What could I Improve in this garden? It's in a cabinet, has aluminum paper that is used to wrap subs and put pizza on (like paperish back, aluminum foil (Thin) on the front.



I'm using a 75w Sylvania house bulb on the mechanic's lamp. And the 3-pod is obviously using a 24-26w (single) CFL.

To avoid heat problems I change the 75W that's beating on the plant in the pot to a 13w over night. This a problem?

Ok..that first plant looks like a tomato to me...rub the leaf gently between your finger and then smell (I know this sounds terrible lol, but tomatoes have a distinct smell that is quite pungent). Any type of house light bulb will not work for growing a plant...it simply doesnt put out the correct spectrum...If you are on a budget, you can get a grow light at lowes that will fit the fixture you have (not ideal but I have started many plants with one). It should only cost you about $6. If you want a big one you can buy a shop light and bulbs for about $30 (get a "cool" and "warm" pack and use one of each in each fixture (avoid the ones that say daylight). Aluminum foil is a terrible reflector to use. It causes dangerous hot spots which can burn plants. You can get mylar from wal-mart (Emergency blanket in the camping section..$3) if you are on a budget. Heavy duty mylar is about $20 a roll and could cover an entire house lol.
Your yellow spots is indeed probably nute burn from the roots lying on the tablet. Try to get some liquid nutes, aerogarden now apparently makes them according to another user on this site.

no growlight just take that damn reflector off go to lowes (white) or home depot (yellow) and get 3 (1.50 each) Y adapter for your socket get a 4 pack of the DAY LIGHT 23watt cfls(100watt equiv) Lowe's has the cheapest light bulbs you can get the 4 pack for 5$

Then just use that for light. i seems funky but it will provide the best spectrum for the smallest space and those shoplight cords usually do 360watts ( your using 92)
