Ok, so if possible I would like it to be recognized that this is a Grow Journal, so I should be posting here more than anyone else. And probably more than everyone else combined. Anything other than that is trolling, just to make that clear from the beginning to anyone who is confused.

This is a 1500W LED Hood light. If you have ever seen a grow in a magazine, or at a dispensary, or on Facebook or something, and there was purple light in the grow, this is the kind of light they were using. It contains spectrums of light for all seasons, and also includes a little UV light, which will be good for the African Strains I am growing. It is equal to 1500W of regular light bulb light, and it uses under 300W of electricity to make it. This will be my main flower light, and the general rule is about 1g per 1W so 1500W = about 1500g per 3 Square Meters.

These are LED Corn Cob lights. Basically it is just a bunch of little LED diodes in a curly shape on a strip and encased in glass. These are extremely bright, way brighter than you would expect. They are 20W each which makes them equal to about 150W each if they were regular light bulbs. So I am getting more light for less energy. Together these should be about 600W.

These are the kind of lights that people use in Lizard cages. They are 10.0 meaning that they have summer noon-day UV rays, and they are 26W CFLs which means they are equal to about 100W each, so about 400W total. UVB is the kind of light that causes Cancer, and it seems to boost THCv production, as THCv seems to possibly have some kind of action that protects the plant from the UVB rays.

Here are my old lights, they are 2x 125W CFLs and 1x 105W CFL. I will be using them in the grow also. Each one should add about 400W to the grow, but I will not be using all of them.

These are Fox Farm nutrients, these are probably the most commonly used Marijuana nutrients, and it is Organic so it can be used in Organic grows.

This is Silicate, what it basically does is allow the plant to absorb tiny Quartz Crystal structures, and then it uses those in its fibers. And when the plant fibers have Quartz Crystal added to them, they become stronger and can carry more buds on each branch.

So if anyone is interested in growing Marijuana indoors, having all this would be overkill for most grows, so this is all the nutrients and light you would need.

Here are the plants I am currently growing. There are 3 of us, so we can legally grow 18 plants according to Colorado's State Constitution Amendment 64. It is also my Religion, so it is further protected. But I will also be finding people who want to take clones around here, then allow me to pollenate 1 branch of the plant, then allow me to take the seeds, breed them out again or lock the genetics in, then I will share locked in seeds with everyone involved.

First, I already have regular seeds growing, and 3 clones. So from the regular seeds I can get males, then I have some Feminized seeds coming to breed.

I am growing Regular African strains, then White Rhino, Blue Mystic, etc. And I am actually hoping that I will get 1 or 2 of the African strains as males, so that I can breed them with the other plants.

So the plan is African Strains X Aromatic Strains X Commercial Strains, then maybe cross 1 more time with an African Strain or Aromatic Strain

African Strains = Malawi, African Buzz, South African Kwazulu, Early Durban
Aromatic Strains = Banana Crack, White Strawberry Skunk, Blue Mystic, Cheeses, Diesels etc
Commercial Strains = Kush Strains, Haze Strains, White Widow Strains, Skunk Strains, etc

Here is the Religious case for this:

To prove my case I use a mixture of Case Law (Law decided by the Courts), Statutory Law (Law decided by Congress), Fundamental Law (Constitutional Rights and operations of the Courts and Congress as stated in the Constitution, etc), Historical Evidence to prove the reality of the Religion, and even DEA and FDA Administrative Regulations. This is not the whole case, but it is an outline that anyone could show to their lawyer and ask them to apply it to their situation. As long as you are actually growing Religiously, and not just using Religion as an excuse to sell Bud.

Hinduism is the only Ancient World Religion that has survived through Abraham, Jesus and Muhammed and is practiced by 15% of the World's current population. India is the only country in which the people living there are still using the same Temples and Holy Sites that they used over 4500 years ago when the first Hindu Holy Book, the Rig Veda, was written. Marijuana has been a part of every large society, from Ancient China, India and Egypt, to Ancient Greece, Rome and the Middle East and Europe. The word Indica means "From India" the word Sativa means "To Cultivate". The word "Ganja" comes from the Ganges River and the word "Kush" comes from the Hindu Kush Mountains, where it is believed the first Marijuana seeds came from. Lord Shiva is the Lord of Marijuana, the Lord of Bhang. Shiva is what happens when you smoke Marijuana, Shiva is what happens when you Dance. Shiva is simply a force of Nature and can not be denied. The DEA allows for corporations to legally Manufacture, Import (through customs), Distribute/Sell, etc, Marijuana (by the Ton), Coca leaf and Cocaine (by the ton), substances like LSD, 2C-I, DOM, etc, there are companies that have licenses to Manufacture or Import not 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 substances, but some places are allowed to Manufacture and Import 50+ Schedule I and Schedule II substances. And in August 2016 the opened up registration for companies to begin doing this with Marijuana, as the University of Mississippi was the only place allowed to do it under Federal law before (for the Federal Marijuana patients), and this was seen by the DOJ as a Monopoly, so the DEA opened up registration.

The way this works is called DEA form 225, protocol found in 21 CFR 1301.18; 81 FR 53846. And the Free Exercise Clause states that Congress shall make no laws to prohibit the Free Exercise of Religion. If a corporation has been given a right or opportunity, that same right or opportunity must be given to Religions. The way the courts have stated it previously is that "If Marijuana laws are equally applied to everyone, then we can apply them to your Religion", well they are no longer being equally applied to everyone.

Similarly to how people think of "Africa" as one giant thing, it is actually a very diverse place, with very diverse cultures and people and genetics and backgrounds and colonial histories, etc. And that is true for the African strains as well. I have also read that the South African Kwazulu is actually a fast flowering strain, and then one of the strains I have is early Durban, so that is an earlier flowerer.

The first think I really want to do is mix the Afircan strains with Aromatic strains. Supposedly Durban Poison and Grandaddy Purp made Cherry Pie, then crossing that back with Grandaddy Purp made Pink Champagne. So the Early Durban (which is Durban mixed with Skunk, which is pretty Aromatic already) and the African strains, when mixed with Banana Crack, White Strawberry Skunk, Blue Mystic, Girl Scout Cookies, and Purple Bud, it could bring out some good smells that don't exist yet, the same way Cherry Pie was made. I would also be interested in mixing them with Diesels and Cheeses and strong Lemon strains and Erdbeer and things like that.

Then I want to mix those crosses with things like Hazes and Kushes and White Widow Strains and Green Crack, etc.

And either lock the genetics in at that point, or cross them back with African strains or Aromatic strains.

African Buzz is an Malawi Gold Phenotype that was bred out by a Breeding company.

Malawi is another form of Malawi Gold from another company, the genetics are not locked in and it is a normal landrace.

South African Kwazulu is an African landrace from the Shaka Zulu tribe.

Early Durban is Durban Poison from South Africa, combined with Skunk #1 plants that were selected for their early flowering times.

Blue Mystic is a plant that no one is sure of the background of, but people have guessed that it is probably Northern Lights and Blueberry.

Hindu Kush is basically a selected landrace plant that has been bred by a company, and is from the Hindu Kush Mountain region.

White Rhino is White Widow mixed with Rhino.

The Banana Crack and White Strawberry Skunk seeds came today, which are the Aromatic strains that I will be mixing with the African strains in my Religious Marijuana grow. So I decided that I would make a post for everyone so that they can know how to turn seeds into plants. The process of getting a seed to turn into a plant is called "germination".

So first, you just need some seeds. I ordered some from a Seedbank in Europe, but you can use some that you find in your buds also. Marijuana seeds are not hard to grow, they are from the Hindu Kush Mountains, which is basically a desert environment.

Once you have your seeds, just get a paper towel and then get the paper towel wet, squeeze it into a ball, then unfold it and lay it flat and put the seeds on it. It doesn't have to be super wet, but you don't want it to be too dry. The seeds need the humidity and moisture in order to germinate.

Then from there you just fold up the paper towel, then put it in a plastic bag marked with the name of the seeds, and wait a few days to a week, and some of the seeds should have little roots and 2 little leaves. Seeds that can be germinated are called "viable", an example of a non-viable seed would be a seed that has existed for more than 2-5 years.

Durban Poison does not need anything to make it better if you get the real thing.
My wife is actually from Durban.
I completely agree. But, you know how people are breeding things like White Rhino and White Russian to improve on White Widow, and people are reaching like 25-30% THC content? And you know how people are making plants with higher CBD than ever before. Absolutely no one (as far as I am aware) is saying "Let's make a plant with 20% THCv" (which would be crazy), and the only way to do that is to do what I am doing.

And very few people, but a few people and companies, are saying "Let's breed plants with the best flavors", and absolutely no one as far as I know is saying "Let's get new genetics out of African landrace the same way we get new genetics out of Thai, Brazil, Colombian, etc, landrace strains". African genetics prove to have THCv which is completely different, and have proven to bring out smells that don't exist in dispensaries yet. And Skunks contain THCv in small amounts, so it is likely that there was an African strain in Skunk's lineage somewhere along the line.

I agree that Durban Poison and Malawi Gold and all the African strains can hold their own, but we need to start seeing what they can do the same way we have been with other landraces for the past 60-80 years.

Btw, I am still about to start brewing Cider also. I have most of the stuff I need, I just need to get a few more things. And I will start making guides on Growing and Brewing soon, but I will eventually show plant Breeding and Yeast Propagation, and everything eventually as well.

But I want everyone to have these words to look up. These are ways that GMOs are made, some of them are actually even possible to do yourself.

Yeast is probably the easiest thing to alter the DNA of..., so a lot of these things can be done with Yeast. And they have even created Yeast that makes Cannabinoids or Opiates instead of Alcohol, so there are crazy things that can be done. You would have to know exactly what you were doing in order to achieve something like that, which would mean either buying a bunch of Textbooks and Lab Equipment, or getting a Degree in Biochemistry, either of which would take Years of preparation. But it has been done, and there are even talks of "What can be done if it gets out to the Public". But anyways, doing something like that yourself would be hard, but altering DNA yourself (generally altering it) is sometimes not hard at all.

Here are some things to look up:
Norman Borlaug
Craig Venter
Digital Biological Converter
Biological Teleportation
Gene Gun
Electroportation
Microinjection
Agrobacterium
Somatic Cell Nuclear Transfer
S.M.A.R.T. Breeding

An example of how simple it can be is that Yeast DNA can be altered simply by exposing the Yeast to UV Light.

I've seen someone speak in tongues after smoking Durban poison. The strangest thing was he was not aware of it, he thought he was speaking normally.
THCv is supposedly 4x more potent by weight than THC, and it is reportedly more psychoactive.

And these are just Anecdotes, but I have a family member whose favorite strain is Durban Poison. And when I got Durban Poison within the past month I definitely noticed that there was a difference between if I smoked it before or after a bowl of another strain, and definitely noticed differences between it and normal strains

And I have had Durban before, I was just in Texas winning my Religious Marijuana case by getting the Prosecutor to come to court after 5 years (and after seeing my 140 page Memorandum of Law) and say "We didn't have time to prepare" and drop themselves off the case, forcing the Judge to drop everything due to the lack of the presence of a State pressing charges.

But I definitely noticed when I tried it again recently that it was different, and that it combined strangely with regular THC buds.

Don't get into too many things at once, burnout follows shortly. Heck, I just have 160 plants to take care of and it is a full-time job.
We have 3 people, so it's not too much. And we will only flower 3 each at a time, so if we want to flower all of them, or new seeds, it will take about a year, and maybe longer depending how many people we get to take clones from us, and how many new strains we get.

And I want to eventually bring everyone together to gift each other OZs of the bud we have all been growing. And maybe start something like a Marijuana Moose Lodge or Rotary Club.

I would do a minimum of 10 plants, there is almost always the 20/80 principle that applies to the universe. 10 percent are weaker, and 10% are better than average, the other 80% is just average.
When you put down 10 seeds this means 1 or 2 will clearly be weaker, 1 or 2 will be more vigorous. You also get to smell a few and find the best flavour, flowering time, etc. instead of using the 1st best plant that germinated.

I'm going to keep either 1 or 2 of each strain, hope for a few males for breeding, and then have 18 plants exactly after all the seeds are germinated. Then I will flower 3 at a time and my roommate will flower 3 at a time.

Please don't take this as trolling but if you're going for an organic grow, only one of those Fox Farm nutes you posted is organic.
The Big Bloom

Tiger Bloom and Grow Big are synthetic salts.
I am not going for an organic grow. I would use the Enzymed Copper and all that. You know what I am talking about? I forget the name for it. But that Enzymed metal and mineral thing, you can also use it to synthesize DMT from the Tryptophan in milk, like Coper-XXXXXXXX whatever it is. Someone will know. I didn't even look it up, but I know what I am talking about and I don't feel that anyone on this website deserves any more than my own personal random explanation. But anyways, I would use that Enzymed Mineral Metal substance thing, I don't care about Organic.

So, I am looking for strains that have African Genetics and I have found things like African Queen and Cherry Pie, but while searching I found this article. Weeds happens to be one of my favorite shows and in the show they breed a strain of Marijuana and they called it MILF Weed. And it is 4 African strains mixed together, and whoever wrote this article basically predicted I would do what I'm doing now.

Good to see you back at it shaggy. As far as those figures with your led good luck, it's not going to happen.
You should look at a 315 cmh system if you want to keep the power down and the yield up , not too mention the light systems reasonably priced yet very effective.
I'd like for you to prove me wrong but I don't think so.
