First off, thanks to everyone that gave me advice from the start. If you left a reply on my last post a few weeks ago i'm sorry I never responded my PC broke and I had to wait to get a new one.
Below are some pics of my first set-up. the plants that you see are gifts from a friend of my father. They are 1 week into Flowering. I know they are stretched but it's something to do while I get the rest of my set-up built.
The room you see below I built with plywood from lowes and some 1/2" by 1 1/2" boards. The dimensions are 4ft X 4ft x 6 1/2 ft. Total cost for building the room was about $100.The light is a 400w Metal Halide. I was a gift from my uncle. This room is going to be for vegging clones and keeping a couple of mothers.
I still have another cabinet to build. This one will be connected to the first room but will be blocked off from any sort of light from the first room. The second room will be 4ft x 6ft x 6 1/2 ft. I found a 400w HPS balast and a dome for $35 on Craigslist I will be buying next week. I will also add 2 200w CFL's on the walls of the box. This box will be my flowering box.
I plan on running a modified sog system. It was difficult for me to come up with a system where I can have a harvest every month but hopefully my plan will work out.
Any coments on the plants or the set-up would be much appreciated. Thanks to everyone who helped. I couldn't have gotten this far without this site.
