fimming / topping problem i need a answer lol

I'm sure its entirely likely that this could happen due to an improper cut. Personally I don't think I will ever risk cutting my plant like that, I think I'm going to become a lst/scrog kinda guy!

But will those 8 cola's yield more than the whole plant would had you not done that? *dosen't creating multiple tops through cutting really lead to a greater yield? or does it merely distribute it? (1 large main cola, or several smaller colas?) I've heard some debate on this, it sounds like it depends on the strain. That is why I plan to lst/scrog instead of top

Probably didn't go low enough to cut the meristem and just got the leaf tips instead.

I usually wait until there is a bit of stem and then cut. That way the meristem (growing tip), is definitely removed.

In my experience, fim'ing works best for compact indicas.

Nirvana's Papaya strain is extremely compact and dense... the stems grow very close to the main stem. Growing from seed, I got one big (thick, not long) cola and a couple medium sized ones.

Its some really killer smoke, so i fim'd the 2 clones I took. They reacted very well to it.. Guess we'll see if it was worth it in a couple months.
