FIMing : how to get colas?

Hello guys I'm at the end of 4th week and I started to consider FIMing. While I understood the basics I still don't understand how to maximise colas.
After FIMing can I expect between 2-4 colas at the top of the plant? And once FIMing is done can lower inter-nodes leaves lead to more colas?

Thanks in advance to those who can enlighten me

I would start with topping because it's easier and leaves the plant more symmetrical. besides if you fuxx up, then you FIMmed..lol

Since rollitup was down last week I choosed to FIM them and start LST. One of the plant is looking really nice with 2 news colas emerging at the top while the other plant seems to be dropping a bit and producing leaves again where I made the cut. Does it look normal or should I top the one that drops?

Can't add photo right now.

Give the FIM some time. No need to top right now you have plenty of time. I usually top first then 10-15 days later FIM existing colas.

there are no rules, the more you cut the more it bushes. to cut or not is entirely up to you, how you do it, where you do it, when you do it and for how long you do it too. I'd suggest keeping notes/pics, and flowering this one as it is when she catches up, then on the next one try something different, rinse, repeat
