FIM Technique (pics)

ok im trying the FIM technique for the first time and I want to make sure i was doing it right. this plant was topped about 4 days ago using the FIM technique. Did I do it right?
Also has anyone had any experience using Pura Vida Organics Grow and Bloom by Technaflora

i wouldhave pinched it a little furtur down. it don't look like it will fork.goodluck

Yeah same here I would of took a small pair of scissors and spread her leaves apart and went in like a surgeon.

so do you think i should cut it again? when i cut it I left about 20 percent of it it was even all the way across but when it started to grow it look like that

yeah does any one have a pic with where exactly to cut? i am far from it in my grow. but def want to learn.

looks ok, but a proper fim goes THROUGH the outer leafy parts of the top (which when pressed together resembles a turnip) without damaging some of the smaller inner leaves. Any way you cut it it will grow back bigger, so there ya have it. FIM - fuck I missed

when is the best time to do it? my plant is about 3 weeks into veg and has 3 nodes. Oh well our just keep snipping and pinching to i get it right I got some other plants I can experiment on.

Im teasing good pic though on where exactly to pinch at. I wasnt for sure myself on how far down b4 its to far.

ya my nails are constantly dirty from mixing the soil with water and a lil fert before transplanting, but its the small price to pay to be able to say i grew it all organic like, imo hydroponic growers are just too afraid to get their hands dirty. i wear my dirty fingernails like a badge of honor lol, but seriously every time im done taking care of the plants i have to sit back with my pocket knife and dig out all the dirt cause it doesnt matter how much u wash your hands, the shit aint coming out.

I love the dirt/organic grow, but I do prefer to wear latex gloves when I transplant/mix soil. I dislike dirt under the nails.

ok any ideas on how I correct this or should i just leave it alone and let it do its thing? here is some more pics..i dont understand how i fucked up something that was a fuck up from the start. ok the first two are some plant and the next two are a different plant that i was suppose to be using the FIM technique on
