Filters?

I am going to start growing in 2 totes that make a grow box for 1-3 plants and I was going though some stuff and found a box of aquarium carbon filters and they say it help control odor and was just wondering if it might help with they odor from the plants?

yup, they work as long as you have the air from an exhaust fan forced into the filter. otherwise, it wouldnt do hardly anything

you blow into ya filter? cause i put mines on the intake end.

well whatever part of your grow box has air leaving the box (via a fan, not little gaps or holes) should be connected to it. because if its another fan then the smelly bud will still leak out that same fan.

yea, i think in the DIY section of general mar growing it had a great thread on carbon filters. like you could get all the parts for 10 bucks.
