Filter on light vent?

Do you need to put a carbon filter on light ventilation? I haven't got my new 600 yet and I am trying to get my room ready and wondering how many filters I need. Thanx...probably a dumb question

Is the light exhausting air from the room? If so yes you must filter it or you will know. If you are doing a "sealed" room and venting through the light with air other than from the grow, then no you do not need to filter it.

If the air from the plant growing area is not being vented through the light's cooling system, you don't have to add a Carbon Filter but it still helps to add a regular dust filter.
