feminized pollen breeding for certain phenos

So if you would take 2 different skunky female strains and got fem pollen off 1 and pollinated the other 1 to make a new cross. Say Fuel from CSG is the fem pollen and Sour Kush from RP/DNA is other female, both very skunky but not as skunky as they would be together. Grow out alot of the new fem seeds until you find better skunk leaning phenos. Take your new found 2 best skunk phenos and cross them to each other making more fem seeds and a new skunky cross, or will it?

My question is what happens when you use feminized pollen like this to breed out a certain pheno? Is it possible to breed like this for certain flavors and smells ? This way seems the easiest since you can test both female parents out and know how they grow start to finish.

Good question. I don't know, but will have more insight as soon as I make my next batch of seeds.

I suspect that there would be less phenos with feminized seed breeding.
If you make a cross you should get seeds that mostly produce a mix of the two plants.
50% mix, 25% that leans towards the trannie and 25% that lean towards the mom.
There should be phenos within all of those too.

In my opinion the plant that supplies the pollen will show a bit more in the offspring, so make the pollen with your favorite plants. Again, that is opinion.

I just found a great Blueberry pheno, the sativa one and I cloned it yesterday. I plan on taking two of the clones and making feminized seeds with them.
I am very curious to see how uniform the resulting plants will be. I assume they will be all be pretty similar to the parents.

I think breeding with feminized is a great way to speed things up. I have limited space so I hate raising males.

Good luck.

I hate raising males to and have had great results with many feminized crosses with 2 different strains used as parents but find that S1's or 1 parent seeds are less then what you started with, many clone only S1s seeds end up being not as good as original. The fem seeds with 2 seperate parents seems to always produce nice crosses but i dont know of any breeders taking it any farther then that initial cross. Most breeders that sell fem seeds sell clone only's crossed either to them self or each other, no other work done.
