I have never grown an auto before. One of my bestfriends always grows out his freebie autos (and mine as well since I give him the seeds) to have an early harvest on a plant while he is waiting on his photos to finish. They have always sucked. There have been some that looked good, tasted good, but really weak buzz. There have been some that have been potent, but the buzz feels really weird on them, etc. Basically, they all sucked.
Last March promo I needed to spend a few more bucks to get past the minimum, ended up snatching a Female Seeds mix pack. In my most recent batch I popped one of the seeds and about 3 weeks into veg it started flowering. I was disappointed, but decided to leave and it let it go. I am glad I did.
Started flowering 3 weeks into veg, I grew it with my photos, so at week 4 lights were switched to 12/12. From the time I saw the first pistols (in veg) until harvest was around 9 weeks of flowering time. It actually finished the same time as my other plants in that batch even though it was an auto and the others were photo.
Tastes and smells are excellent. The buzz type is also really nice and well rounded (first time for an auto for me). It is far from the most potent bud, FAR, but it isnt weak either. It is great for early mornings, work, chores.
Now, I would never spend actual money to grow this (or any auto for that matter) but it wasnt complete shit like every other auto I have experienced and if you are an auto grower, I would recommend this.
