Female Seed Germination & SoG

I posted a message on here awhile ago & just wanted to get some more opinions if I could.im goin to be starting a SoG soon for the winter. I just harveted my outdoor plant which all came from feminized seeds. 2 of the plants I had were White Russians. I had to move them a couple times & they became stressed & turned into Hermies. I was told on here that if a female plants becomes stressed & produces seeds without being pollanated by a male then the seeds will all be female, is that true? Sinse I am gonna do a SoG I dont want to waste time growing plants from these seed just to have them turn male on me & havbe to start over. Can anyone help? Thanx.

Also some of the seeds I have are real light colored almost like a tan and the other ones look normal. Is there 1 i should use over the other?

You will not get any males. You might end up with a bunch of genetic hermies or plants that are more sensitive to the things that can cause it to go hermie, but no males.

Thanx bro. I have another question if you can help me. I plan on having 5 or 6 mother plants during the SoG grow. Ive read that Im supposed to keep the mother plants under the HPS lights & I have to keep rotating the mothers every time I take clones from them, but wouldnt that make them flower every 8-10 weeks w/ the clones? Thanx again.

that would be a bad idea, heres what you do-get some 4ft t5 light fixture/s,6-8 tubes total between fixtures. or just one of the bigger ones that have 6 or 8 per fixture and stick the mothers under them along with the clones till they root(take the next batch about a week or 2 b4 your batch in the flower room is done). Harvest the current plants, put the rooted clones under the hps to flower. I'm unsure of who/where/what you heard that from and what they were trying to explain to you, they might have explained whatever it is they were trying to explain poorly is my guess.

I am goin to do a SoG as explained by Al B Fuct in the link below on this site. Ill go over it again to make sure I didnt misread something but Im pretty sure thats what it says. Ive grown clones before but not on the level Im goin to. For my equiptment this is what I have: (1) 4' shop light w/ (2) T5 bulbs for clones, (2) 1000W HPS lights & (1) MH light, and (2) 1000W switchable ballasts for MH or HPS lights.

I think i realized what they were saying, but with that method of cloning/growing i think they are talking about you dont actually keep a mother or mothers. What you do is take the very first plants and veg them till they are big enough to take some clones from(or longer if you want of course) and then snip the bottom 2-4 branches that would not be part of the main cola really anyway and make them into clones, the fact they are from the bottom branches make them root faster in addition to the lollipopping sort of effect to get just that one nice big cola from each plant. by the time the first plants are done the clones should be big enough to take clones from and then put into the flowering area, thus continuing the cycle repeatdly.

From what I read it said that he has 5-6 mothers at a time & take clones off each mother every couple weeks & replace the mothers every 4-8 weeks as needed. So hes gettin 2-4 batches of clones off each mother. It also says under that, that the mothers are kept in the same room under the same HPS light as the clones. Either way, do you think its a better idea to keep the mothers under reg. T5 bulbs, the same lights as the early stage of clones?

In his guide he says he has 2 seperate areas for moms and the clones"
.The mums are maintained under 24 hour 400W HPS. The clonebox has 6x 18W fluoro tubes (24"), usually on 24/7 but shut off for the first 6-8 hours after doing a new batch of cuttings."

do you mean when you decide to flower the mothers maybe or ???

On both of my grows using femmed seeds I got two pure males...It is ver possibly to get males from femmed seeds. The seeds were from two different very reputable banks as well...

Thats my question. It says he has them under 24/7 HPS lighting. Whether the mothers are in the grow room or in a seperate room wouldnt that make them flower? He says he replaces the mothers every 4-8 weeks so that means he'd get MAYBE 2 batches of clones from each mother & then she'd flower? I just didnt understand cuz you cant really take clones from a mother if its flowering. So if its under constant HPS lighting he'd really only be able to get 1 batch of clones per mother & then it would flower, right? Wouldnt it be smarter to keep the mothers under a regular shop light w/ cool white bulbs? They would last longer & you'd be able to get more clones off of them.

Dank, the White Russian seeds I bought were feminized & were from the same company. Out of 5 seeds 3 plants made it & 2 of them produced seeds. Im just guessing it was cuz I had to move them 2 times after the roots were established which I hated doin. I had a total of 12 plants including the W. Russians in 1 area and none of my other plants had seeds on them. That means if the W.R.'s were actually male they would of pollanated all my other plants right? So like I said I think it was from stress. I just dont want to start a SoG w/ those seeds not knowing what Im gonna get. But people keep telling me that the seeds will be female just more susepticle to stress. This time theyll be in a way more controlled enviornment so Im not to worried about stress.
