Too early to tell bro, keep up the 24 of light till u see preflowers, couple weeks tops. if it turns out female, put it in 12-12 as soon as yas like after seeing preflowers. 2 tiny white hairs at each node. figure it will at least double in size during budding.dont trim unless its dying leaves.

You have to switch to 12/12 in order to force flowering it will never flower w/24 hours light unless its auto flowering. you can go 12/12 when ever you want as long as you have 5-6 branch sets(nodes)if your not going to flower yet, I would switch the lights to 18/6 at least 20/4 use 24/0for seedlings...........Jmac

Also you can top the plant, cut the growing shoot and 2 will take its place. If you do that dont flower now.

ok, so if i keep the lights at 24/0 it will produce seeds?
its in its 5th week. damn this this sprouts 2 new leaves everynight. WOW.
so if i clone this baby i cut off the lower nodes right?!?
i would love clones of her she is my blueberry and my first grow.
this web site helps alot. thanks everyone

it's a female for sure. i can bet on that. don't switch to 12/12. switch to 16/8, and then to 12/12 when you get 12 sets of leaves.

Please explain what makes you think it's female?

There's no sign of any preflowers on that plant, and even if there were, they wouldn't be visible in those photos unless they were a few days old.

Blazin,
When you go 12/12, you'll need to check for sex daily with a magnifying glass (or loupe). The preflowers can be seen through a magnifying glass long before they're visible to the naked eye, or that camera.

Nope, ou have to put the plant into 12-12 to get anything. males produce pollen, females produce buds without seeds (sensimillia) or bud with seeds(crap, unless ya are crossbreeding for them) so in other words kill the males asap

I can almost guarantee that that is a male plant. It's built like a male-looks just like my Dude (R.I.P). If it starts showing sex earlier than the others, it's most likely male. If you see balls in the next 7-14 days, you owe me a nugget (but not from that dude).

years of experience. it's hard to explain, but it'll show up eventually
dude I dont care if you got a hundred years experience and im sorry to break it to you but there is know way you can tell the sex of this plant right now....Jmac

Those pics are too blurred and distant to tell.

You need quality close-up pics like the one I've attached.

Those tiny white hairs are the female pre-flowers (the green bits at the front are just the stipes, and the green bits at the back are new shoots sprouting, they are nothing to do with the flowers).
