Ok, well I have some lovely Kush. Welcome to the Qwerg Aero Grow Journal. Let me fill you in, 1 Kush Plant which is indeed female. Purps turned out Male so it was removed. I use the Aerogarden Pro 200. 1 Large AeroGrow Nutrient and 1 Miracle Grow Nutrient Through Veg and 2 Large AeroGrow Nutrients for flower. Flowering 12/12 with Red Spectrum CFLs. AeroGarden lights are Mixed Spectrum Gro-Lux Bulbs. So let's get to growin' some True.High.Class. Piff shall we? I need all the tips I can get, feel free to comment and help out.

im currently growing bc mango in my AG pro200. your crop is lookin good although i would have "topped" the plant during the veg state. your plants will grow alot bushier if you top it next time. looks good so far tho man. do you have an air pump in your resivoir ? that really helps get O2 to the roots.

To Canadian Blazer, no I didn't buy an airstone this time around. I thought I had one but turned out it was thrown out. The roots seem to be doing great though.

its like a mini micro 1 plant grow were did you get the areogarden with a light that goes that high the 1s i see are like 1 mabey 2 feet tall the big 1 is cool as hell i want 1 wiith som ak-48

You can't really get this one in stores, I've checked. I bought mine on eBay brand new for $200. The arm extends to 2 Feet.

Just minutes from 3 weeks 5 Days Flower. Flowers are looking beautiful. Hairs are starting to just burst out everywhere and I'm seeing evident sugar now. New pics coming tomorrow. Thanks for all the support so far. Also, how long do you think I should flower, 7, 8, or a long 9 weeks. I'm not sure if I will get a microscope to observe myself, so I'm judging by hair color and estimates, meanwhile I'll look for a microscope I could borrow.

What's up guys, good news, the buds are really starting to come together. Bursting with hairs and starting to show crystals. It smells like true fruity piff. By the way, the current bulbs in use include:

2x 23 Watt (100 Watt Eqv.) Red Spectrum CFL

1x 46 Watt (150 Watt Eqv.) Red Spectrum CFL

2x 15 Watt (60-65 Watt Eqv.) Red Spectrum CFL

3x 26 Watt AeroGrow Mixed Spectrum Gro-Lux CFL

Looks cool ,, But . If you want MAX yield get a small HPS to finish them.. Ive done 4 grows in Aerogardens with CFL's .. Its just not worth it .. Cfl's are great for vegging.. But for flowering they are a TOTAL waste ..

Tge only reason I don't use HPS and Metal Halide and things of that sort is because, they're just too strong. I'm sure they run up the elctric bill noticeably most people I see getting busted all have these bulbs and are compromised by yhe heat and noise they make. Correct me if I'm wrong please about anything. ALso, don't they also require a seperate ballast. Anyway, where can I buy a small yet worth buying HPS bulb and set up. Thanks!

A small one (under 400 watts ) is not going to make any dent in the bill its on for 12 hrs a day and only for 8-10 weeks .. Get a 150 watter .I got mine here

Its a waste if you dont ..Trust me I wasted a year trying everyway without an HPS .. with cfl's you'll end up with light fluffy buds , very little weight

Thats when you use the 600 and up watts ... If you dont trust me , then do it your way ... You'll wish you had listened after you harvest and cure

I'm just asking for confirmation. SO you're saying 600 Watt and up requires ballast or below that too? Now that you mention this, I'm considering the purchase of one highly.

They all use ballasts .. Just the 600 watt and up will use a lot more electric.. The amount that the smaller ones use in close to nil.. maybe $12 a month more

Sounds good, where's a good place to by an HPS Setup for a good price? What Wattage should I use seeing as I only have 1 Plant growing this time and next time around probably no more than 2-3 plants?
