I don't know the details yet, not sure if anyone does really, but it looks like there may no longer be fees even for caregivers. Apparently the forms no longer state it, a buddy just got one from the state. I have one caregiver card now and one I should have by now. If this is true I want my $600 back!

LOL Feesit. Didn't see the typo should be Fees, then was starting my post with "It's looking like..." and changed my mind. oh well

I have a hard time believing that the state has new forms since the new law isn't even in effect.......I"m sure the caregiver fees will remain the same.......

Ok since you questioned it I had to go look for myself. It appears to be true. Go here and download the caregiver application, and compare it to the one I'm sure you have on file from last year.

No caregiver fees, app looks a lot different.

I see fees on the PDF version of the Caregiver app, page 3 - $300 + $31 for Criminal Background check.

DHHS won't give up all their fees....as they just lost every patient fee they were ever counting on.....lol
