Well .... POI is your door IN ... I am telling you SIR .... just try it.
Grab a pair of socks and two tennis balls .... and play for a day.
Exactly!! Thats the way to go Puffer!
My journey started off when I first did poi on the beach about 3 years ago... About halfway in I went completelely bonkers with the symmetry of the patterns created with Poi motion. Then came the part where I realised the only way get the perfect flow was through the leg movements! (Watch Yuta`s legs in the video) I was so ambitious! I remember doing poi to a 4 hour music track and realising I had been going for 2:15! It was hours and hours a day

This guy was my inspiration!
This led me to do a few shows on stages with fire too

Great stuff!
I first took interest in Pilates and had a Tai Chi book too, I used to do the Tai warmups and go on with the pilates. I have recently found the BEST thing to do for your is Yoga. I advise against the Tai Chi and say you pick up the yoga. For learning at home check "The New Book of YOGA"
Though I find the absolute best thing you can do in your day is to get a buzz and have a hot shower, followed by an 10 min - 1hr of Poi, then skip the yoga breathing excercises for playing the didgeridoo and get on with your Yoga!!
Do Poi for a year, you will see how its just the gateway art
http://www.homeofpoi.com is the place to be for Poi!
By the way, how many Poi spinners do we have in the HS?
