Feds Raid 14 Medical Marijuana Dispensaries in Seattle Area

Well, I guess most of you have heard the bad news. Yes, Big Brother is at it again. Yesterday in the Seattle area federal agents and local law enforcement executed a volley of raids on 14 local medical marijuana dispensaries, handcuffing the proprietors and taking them away in squad cars, with the threat of more raids to come to other local dispsensaries.

What the fools don't realize is even if they shut down all the dispensaries, most medical marijuana patients and cannabis smokers in general would rather take their chances with the black market paying an average of $250.00 an ounce for killer bud instead of paying 12 bucks a gram or $336.00 an ounce plus sales tax for the swag they call recreational marijuana being sold in the goverment controled stores, which under Washington State law will not be allowed to have a THC content of more than 15%.

It's all about the taxes that the state is currently not allowed to charge dispensaries or their patients, but if the greedy bastards think they're going to get one penny from me or anyone I know, they are sadly mistaken.

this is exactly why i havent gone out there yet to even try to do my own thing. It just currently isnt worth losing my life to one behind bars....just not fucking worth it man...sad..maybe in 10 years.

Where can I find more information about the limit on the THC content? I don't see that in the rules they just produced or in the original initiative.

which under Washington State law will not be allowed to have a THC content of more than 15%.

Now this I never knew,

Why would one even bother growing what I consider commercial grade?.

maybe some medical users would like high CBD and low THC strains, especially those medicating for mental issues anxiety etc
personally i think it would be hard to notice much difference between 15% thc and 20% thc when you smoke everyday like many users
you would just consume more of the 15% thc to get the same effect

many strains sold as having 20% + thc when tested often produce phenotypes around the 15% mark
unless you are growing specific clones that have been tested to be 20% thc or over
i wouldn't worry about it too much

I grow clones only from more desired phenotypes, so good thing I'm nowhere near W. state...which sounds like a risky proposition anyways.

Not much point growing legal when you're still a target for prosecution.

So some of you think that a limit of 15% is not that bad. Sorry to be the bearer of more bad news, but if a proposal by Washington state marijuana czar Mark Kleiman, the flunkie hired by the Liquor Control Board, is passed by the state legislature, the amount of THC in recreational marijuana sold in stores will be limited to a maximum of 10%. What do you think about that, folks? Now that's what I call real swag,

Shoot if its that way then they should also only allow beer to be drank and no hard liquor seeing as its more concentrated. This regulation stuff is really getting on my nerves!
