well, i made 1 "febreze bucket" to help with odor. It had a fan on top and was IN the flower room. I was worried about the plants soaking up the taste , so i moved that bucket. And modified another with a 4" duct "T" in place of the fan. I ran ducting from each of my hoods in the flower room to the bucket. Now, air is pulled through holes in the side of the bucket without exposing flowering plants to possible febreze taste. Flower room has that sweet, skunky smell we all love, while the exhaust out the window is a spring fresh smell. I found that the Febreze is evaporating
too quickly. I decided to get some ONA GEL. I drilled 3 small 1/4" holes in the lid of Ona gel and placed it in the bucket. Now, if i feel like it , i can add a little febreze but the Ona gel should last about 8-10 months- 18 bucks for Odor control that is EASY to service. Ill never buy another carbon filter and im giving away the 3 i WAS using.
Benefits of using this bucket are.... the CFM's your fans are rated at is what is flowing through your hoods and exhaust without the restriction of carbon filters which improve air flow and circulation while helping with cooling.... easy replacement and cheap cost annually.

heres a few pictures of my grow rooms, buckets, ect...

it works great.
its cheap.
it helps cooling by removing restiction of carbon filters.
The air moving through my hoods is the cfm my fans are rated at, not what the filter lets through.
Lights are able to be 1 foot from plants with the added cooling.
Improved air flow helps with keeping plenty of co2 in the room without a tank.
Im using 1 x 6" growbright 424cfm fan to cool 2 x 1000w HPS's and Exhaust the 6' X 8' flower room.
My exhaust from flower and veg rooms are about 12-15 feet from neighbors bedroom window, and I have no worries about Odor.
Cheap maintnence cost is a PLUS. $25 a year for ODOR control ain't bad.

So how do you make it?
It can be modified for just about any situation. In my flower room, i have 2 x 1000w Hps with a 6" 424cfm "canfan". The fan pulls cool air from the room, through the bucket, through the hoods, and then is pushed out the window as exhaust. Since i have 2 hoods, i use a 6" to 4" "Y" adapter at the fan to run ducting to each hood. Then from each hood to the 4" "T" in the top of the bucket. The bottom part of the "T" goes through a 4" hole in the lid. Around the sides of the bucket. I drilled 6 x 2" holes. These are where the room air is drawn through. You can adapt size of hole's in side and in lid for your specific needs. I NOW use Ona Gel since i found out febreze evaperates to quick. Basically , I drilled 7 holes in a bucket, added some ducting and Ona Gel to it and no more ODOR out the exhaust.
