Anyone currently using the new model that could give me some info on the proper height and dimm for late veg ?
I notice that the new growth is coming lime green and i don't know if it's because they need light or if it's has too much
1st time using LED after long time with hps.
Also they have diferent hanging heights on their website, on europe they say 50% at 16 inch (40 cm) and on the USA says 75% at 12 inches (30cm)

Hi there! I will jump in since I just adjusted the height on the same light this morning. I'm at early veg still, about 5 nodes per plant and I've got it at 60% and 26 inches to tops of plants, which gives me 18k lux on my lux meter. Since I just topped everything, I'll leave it until they recover and start growing quickly again, then gradually increase until I'm at about 80% and 24 inches around the time I flip-that's just an estimate, I usually go by a combination of lux reading (until I get my par meter) and experience, but this is my first grow with the light so I'm being cautious. Once they're flowering, I'll see how close I can push it without damaging anything.

I'm currently in week 7 and i have the lights at 50% at about 41 cm like it says on mars website EU, but i think i need to cranck them up since the new growth is lime green and i want to be sure so i can send them to flower in a week or so.

Lime green new growth is a normal, it just means it's growing quickly. You could definitely start bumping up the intensity now, but don't do it all at once-the plants won't like it. Do it gradually and give them a few days to adjust after each bump. Good luck!

Dont listen to the website. They want u to buy bigger lights that most of the time u don't need. Learn to listen to your leaves. Leaf whisperer. Yo leaves will never lie.

In the morning for a few hours when the light 1st comes on they will be happy and praying a lil (up position).
Midday they should be strait out relaxed (enjoying life).
Before light go off they should be down a lil cuz they are tired.

If they are still praying at bedtime they want more light.
If they are tired early or midday, or if the tips are folding down they need less light.

Don't confuse it with need to be watered or over/under watering look leaf might give. Water is more of a curl, light heat more of a bend/fold look.

Once u know what they want adjust. u can turn light up and raise height or lower them to get closer. U will only need full power week 7-8 of bloom and light should be 32" from tops. Thats a guesstimate. Let the leaves tell u what it wants.
