Faulty lights, ballasts

Hi,, first grow. Just switched to 12/12 with a black lumii digital ballast 1000w. Veged fine with my 250w super veg bulb (dimmable ballast)
When I went 12/12 first 600w black lumii dual spectrum bulb was a dud, got a free replacement and only got 2 shifts out of the bulb. I've had to use my veg light tonight on 12/12.

Looking for advise if this black lumii gear is utter shite or mabey there's a chance it might be a dodgy batch of bulbs or ballasts?

Is the ballast just dimmable or select a watt like a galaxy ballast. They fire the different wattage bulbs and dim higher wattage ones. Mine are 600/400 and 1000/600/400.

If the ballast shows dimming percentage. Like 75%/50% 25% it may have fired the 250w but can’t fire the 600. May be meant to dim 1000 watt bulbs only.

It's wattage select 250w 400w 600w 1000w mate. Can't have this fucking my first grow

Ok problem continues. I'm running a lumii black 1000w digital ballast with settings to 250 400 600 & 1000w I've used the 250mh no problem through veg. Got a replacement bulb yesterday now it's not working. Could it be a dodgy shade as I got the ballast tested yesterday and it's fine. Thing is if the shade is faulty why can it run the 250w but not the 600w?

This is driving me fucking nuts and will using my veg bulb cause any issues to the flower cycle until this is resolved?

You can do a complete grow under any type light but something is up with your ballast.
