Look chillran ... Videos that will entertain and repulse you. Wolf starts to give her ten points on when a democracy closes down ... and guess what ... yep you guess it ... it's already taking place.:spew:

Most are just short videos between 4 and 6 minutes, but Wolf's talk is 48 mintues. Colbert of course is Colbert ...he gives the right wing talking points so it's not all liberal ... :p
All the short interviews are a summary of her talk ... so if you don't want to sit through the 48 minutes ... and you won't ... you can check out the short ones ... which you won't either ... :rolleyes:
Yes I know ... most of you will ignore it ... which is why this is all taking place successfully.
This country is in serious trouble. It's too bad most of you chose to ignore what is happen.:-|

I watched the long version, pretty scary stuff, although I already knew these things and have been screaming them as loud as I can on this and other sites, If we Americans don't wake the fuck up, were doomed, good find. It will be the likes of Naomi Wolf that will be the first targets of the Stazi, uhh, Blackwater.

I've got my AK and a thousand rounds, but that is no match for a helicopter gunship. I think every adult citizen should be issued an AK and a thousand rounds. That might scare the politicians into reality. The swiss people keep a military weapon in their houses in case of national emergencies. Every Swiss male between 17-70 is considered part of the governmental defense system, which could also backfire if the government went astray as ours has.

I typically ignore people that come with a holier than though attitude. Posting on an internet forum talking about what people would or wouldn't do is rather one of the highest forms of ignorance. Even the word fascism is rather questionable because the ideology of fascism doesn't really match what has been developing in the U.S.A. for generations. People have been writing books, had political campaigns, started political parties, filmed documentaries ad nauseam. The concept is not new, but perhaps new to you and Naoimi Wolf...

Citing Naomi Wolf seems almost sophomoric to me since she is known for her work in Woman's studies. She is simply reinventing her career harping on a subject that has already been told many times. What I find people ignore is that Congress is much more powerful than Bush and his administration. So when people demonize Bush they often overlook who voted for his agenda.

Why not reply back with what exactly you think is going on that people are "ignoring" and what we should be doing about it?

So because Wolf normally speak of "women" issue you choose to prejudge and ignore what she has to say ... fine ... next.

... and yes ... I have seen freedom to fascism ... most were focus on the income tax part of the film ... :-|
 
I think its really very interesting, I'm on minute 20 and its talking about a kid being tazared(?) in a Florida University as one of the vertical leaps in the process. I wish I new more about american news....
 
I thought it would be boring at first but once I stated to listen it was quite interesting ... like I said when I get a chance I will see if I can find those ten points written out ...

... You can find a lot what goes on in american politics at "The Real News" "Huffington Post" "What Really Happen" website ... just google them. I like WRH it's my home page. There are tons of other sites ... but those are pretty good ... :neutral:

I think I'm confused about your political views. Having watched both of these videos and many more on these subjects, I'm convinced we are a hairsbreath from a fascist dictatorship, one that would be fully realized by the election of Juliana. What Say you?

You again are quick to assume and judge. Must be that ignorance AGAIN. Sounds like you missed Russo's argument. Have you heard of the Libertarian party? The income tax is one of the earliest examples of where the Federal government has become misaligned with the constitution and the people. Now weither or not if you or I agree with that isn't relevant, what is is we both understand the argument. From your pompous attitude I don't see how you demonstrate understanding the issues at all. Actually, I wasn't demeaning you in the least. I was asking a legitimate question. How you can assume me to be ignorant or pompous is a mystery to me. I asked you if you thought we were on the path to a fascist dictatorship, and you call me an ignorant pompous Something or other. I await your response. I also can assume the role of the agressor. And my fical friend, I am not ignoring anything, especially your nasty attitude.

I didn't miss Russo argument ... he said pretty much what Wolf is saying ...

... and if informing the public of the war crimes being committed by this regime is pompous ... I gladly accept the label.:hump:
