fans.....how close is too close when putting a fan near a flowering plant

Ok now i know this may sound a bit stupid but, the space i am working with at the moment is a closet. Its just enough space for what i need right now until i get my other room finished (currently working on it as we speak). That being said i have a flowering plant and next to it i have a small fan that sits near the opening of the closet to blow fresh air at it while i have an inline duct fan and duct work for the exhaust... i have a 400w hps in my flowering closet so this exhaust fan is much needed.....now the space between my fan and the plant is about a foot and the fan is short so it blows from the ground pointing towards the top of the plant.....is that too close, will it damage the resin glands or anything like?

Just looking for some insight on this matter thanks to anyone who helps!

too close is when the fan touches the leaves or the wind movement cuases them to flap around too much.

you want a steady flow going past them, you dont want them to be blown over like a hurricane.keep them a few feet away from the fan as a general rule of thumb,a few ft meaning 3-4 ft.

there really isn't any norm for fans being close to plant or to far away
run as close as you like as long as the leafs dont start cutting into each other or it creates wind burns

right on guys thanks alot i appreciate all the help

thats my baby and thats the inline fan i installed to take all the heat that my 400w hps produces ....without it it increases the temp by 10 degres lol
