Fan question

Anyone used one of these w/ a grow? Electrically ok for a house? Going to do a couple speaker grows for vegging moms/ clones.

no it runs on DC electricity so you cant just plug it in

8" fan for 60$
(the bigger the quiter, you will need a somewhat larger filter for this thing though at least 300cfm)

Yeah wanted something small for this but not pc small. Anyway I could make these work? I would get two for less than half of that one.

i bet the whine like crazy. get a product designed for long use and proper voltage.

i have some that look similar located inside of my light cooling the lights and pushing air out to help cirulate the room also they work very well

You can get a 6" inline booster fan from pretty much any home improvement store for around $30 or get one from here for $25 shipped:

For small grow spaces like speaker boxes you won't need anything bigger than a booster fan, if however you have a decent size tent or whole grow room with odor concerns then you'll need a high CFM rated inline fan.

dude im so serios when i say this, cheap fan expensive fan they buy the same parts from the same Chinese manufacturer. its like buying a magnetic ballast lol a fan is fan io bet they dont whine i bet they run good and last just as long as a can fan.

some things are okay to go cheap on fan and mag ballast being some of those things.
