Fan leaves

Hi all, can anyone help me, i have read that cutting the leaves back promote good growth then i read that you shouldnt, what is the correct method, i have currently tied my large fan leaves back so more light gets to the lower part of my plant, is this ok or am i doing this all wrong?????:-?

What you did is fine, but cutting them off is not, the plant needs its fan leaves. The more leaf mass you have the more bud mass you'll get so cutting off the fan leaves will result in a lower yield.

ive never heard for tying leaves down, maybe try tying down
branches which will make ur plant bush out and create lots of
new shoots - more bud!

your plant is too stretched, i'd just start over because it's gonna get 3 times taller in flowering so unless you have a ridiculous amount of light, you're not going to get very much dope out of it.

lol yeahh, it looks pretty healthy, just next time you need to put the light closer and get a fan blowing on it to strengthen the stem.

I wouldn't worry about any of that right now, your plant is pretty sparsely vegetated. Unless it really fills out in flowering, I wouldn't do anything.
