Hey guys im stumped. ten days ago I added a little molasses to test the water in my DWC system. For two days everything was great third day it got really hot in room.. temps got to 96* Since then Ive flushed all the shit out of it and have been running at half nutes for about 5 days now.

Each day I have to trim leaves that just wilt and turn to crumble texture, dark grey edges with rust looking spots lol, and the stems that should hold them perky turns into a spaghetti noodle. The cola is screwed all the once thriving green leaves are now brown and will break if you rub them. I had another plant that sits in the same tub and its still awesome. Any suggestions help.

yep, you NEVER NEVER NEVER use molasses in a hydro system. i am assuming that is what a DWC sys is.. anyhow, thats it. i know nothing of hydro except reading here MANY times in the last weeks about only using molasses in soil grows.. assuming you have to clean out your tank/buckets or whatever. sorry i dont have more info. no idea why it would wreck one plant not the other..

Why are you starving your plants? You've taken away half their food which they need to survive and grow so their only choice is to take food from it's older leaves.

Don't do the molasses any more, and don't starve them any more either.
