fan controller wiring help please.

ive got a silent 5 step controller the diagram reads


i have cut the power cable to the fan it has live and neutral only
i'm thinking the power from plug goes in the L + N on the left?
confused about the out to the fan.
help please.

its ok sorted
heres how if anyone else gets 1
there fantronix silent,from there website.
completely eliminates the hum from fan when using cheap dimmer types that also ruin your fan.
From the left:
L Live in
N Neutral in
N1 leave blank
L1 leave blank
U Live to fan
N Neutral to fan

sorry! its excellent. used cheapo ones with massive hum louder than fan once slowed this has my inline completely silent. no hum and can turn up and down with the seasons.
only thing i would say it would be nice to have a dimmer type controll rather than set speeds but great product.
