Just sharing my observation with this cross

1. Oldest sprouts just turned 2 weeks from seeds, stems are still purple. So does the rest of the seedlings and no sign of changing color. Reference post https://www.rollitup.org/t/purple-cotyledon-purple-stem.981788/

2. Huge Cotyledons

3. Early and Long Stipules on the very first set of true leaves. Also showing early sign of branching? at the same location.

Here's what it looks today.....

Dirty-widow.JPG

I call it my Dirty Widow (purple phenotype)

Prolly 2 more weeks to harvest. Weird flower structure, calyxes looks like clumped together, almost all pistils are curled in (even white ones). Smells like burnt coffee. I think its a keeper.

Backcross them or self them and dig into the genepools and then do some diallele or reciprocal crosses. Skunks can be all over the place, showing stunted runts to haze like Sats. Smell will go from sweet candy to literally piss.
You have some good habits, keep it up!

You're right on with your observation...

when they were young they literally smell like dog shit, I mean literally, and it so happened that I have dogs and I would often mistaken it to some of my dogs dumping shit near my grow closet. Now the've matured, some smell like citrus, some smell like a hint of mint and burnt coffee....smell wise they are all over the place.

Size wise, some are more looking like Sativa in height and others are compact more of an indica type. One thing though, during veg they all look like indica dom and as soon they start flowering, the leaves serration changes to sativa like.

Bud wise, wide range too, some look like white widow in structure with white pistils straight up. None look like skunk in structure but others look like more clumps of huge calyxes with tendency to round up (just like a baseball) instead of conical structure with white pistils curling in instead of straight up and turning bright orange as it matures.

The white widow structure have better yield but the rounded structure looks more potent and delicious (pending smoke test). The rounded structure leaves have tendency to purple while the white widow structure remained green.

One phenotype have dense leaf to buds ratio (calyx almost non-existent), it doesn't look like its flowering aside from the tell tale sign of trichomes all over the sugar leaves and turning to almost black or really dark purple.

My plan is to reveg the best purple pheno and the black pheno and hit the clones with the males for my F2

Here's a pheno with high leaf to calyx ratio

black-pheno.JPG

Trichome is just all over the plant. Photo doesn't really show the shade of black or deep purple on the sugar leaves.

Seems like 2 different plants compared to the previous photo but both came from the same parents.

Heavy Colas...so much weight that it actually bend the colas to the ground.

heavy.JPG

Flower maturity from 12/12 flip, 7 wks - 9 wks (depending on pheno)
Has slightly Berry taste on most plants and smell orangey/mocha
Smooth smoke (prolly due to low fertilizer grow)
Start with a good hit to the head followed by 'where's the couch' body high
Effective against fibromyalgia, anxiety attack, depression, and insomnia .

I think this cross is a keeper, I'll be working on F2 soon to stabilize this cross. Currently, working on 2 new projects (F1s). Wish I have the license and space to work on multiple projects.

:peace:

p.s I just found out that there's a new strain out named Dirty Widow :fire:. A cross between white widow and something else. I guess, I'll just have to rename this one into something else.
