Hey guys just another first timer here looking for some advice. In late April I found 3 bag seeds in my newest purchase. On a whim, I decided to try and germinate them and see what happens. Long story short and a month and a half later, I now have a full budget set up.
I just flipped them to 12/12 this week and now have both the veg and flower lights on my cheap amazon light. Not the greatest I know but cut me a little slack, I am trying to figure out if this is something I even want to do still. They turn on at 7am & off at 7pm. I did this originally because I am working from home and could take periodic breaks and check on them. Since I flipped both switches on, the temperature and RH are having extreme fluctuations through out the day. The thermostat and RH meter I bought has an app that tracks the levels over time. on the temperature graph the highs are all during the day when the lights are on and the lows are all at night when it's cooler and the lights are off.

I thought LEDs weren't supposed to get that hot so I guess I never really thought I would be running into this issue. I was thinking about switching the time my lights are on to 70pm-7am, but how would you do that transition? Leave them in the dark for 24 hours, in the light for 24 hours, 6 on 6 off etc.
EDIT:
I completely forgot to mention my set up. I have a 3x3x6 tent, a "1000w" cheap led from amazon. Kingled is the exact brand. A 109 cfm inline fan with carbon filter for exhaust, open vents at bottom of tent for passive intake, humidifier (humidifier was not in the tent over the past week), and small fan blowing on the plants. 1 plant died when it couldn't get its shell to fall off where the cotyledons first appear. I tried to help it by gently pulling one side of the seed off but it completely fell over dead the next day.
They are currently in 2 gallon pots and in black gold soil and using about 50% of the recommended feeding schedule for fox farms trio. The plants broke soil on 4/25/20 and I just flipped them to 12/12 light schedule from 18/6 on 6/7/20. I want to get this first grow moving along as quickly as possible since they are bag seeds and I have 10 autoflower seeds on the way.
They were topped about 2 weeks ago, and I just started lst. Still not 100% sure on gender. The one on the right I am fairly confident will be female. The one on the left is a crapshoot. No definitive signs of sex yet.
How they look today after a little light defoliation:
