hi guys ive a 2.4m x 1.2m tenet in attic was going to vent out of chimmney but worried taking a brickaway could damage structure so could i just vent into attic u can feel a breeze in there so would it just disperse using 2 x 600 watt dual spec bulbs if i was to e:confused:xtract through 10m of ducting by the time it comes out would the temp be that detectable in this weather with winter approaching please help
 
I wouldnt be worried much about the temperature being detectable, homes have applaince that make heat and are vented outside. Smell and a jibbery mouth is what is detected :P
 
cheers for feed back the ducting was going to come of the back of fan and just run round would this still decrease power ? obviously not for me me pal wanted to know he no broadband
 
one way to combat long duct runs back pressure is to use a size bigger duct than the fan. and also the fans work better sucking, rather than [ushing, so the further toward the end of the run the fan is the btter.
 
cheers but would you know if the temp of 2 600 watt dual spec be very high when vented in cool space say in comparison to normal room temp
 
one 600 wat light makes about 2000 btu/hr, so your looking at about 4k an hour. As a comparison a common 1500 watt electric heater makes about 5100 btu/hr.
