Hi guys never happened to me before the duct tape around a ducting pipe came off obviously most of the night it had been off , as I go to tent ever morning at 6.30 am humidity was on 98 % and temp 43.5 degrees ( over 100 f )
It’s never happens my plants are on the home stretch as far as nearly finished they have around 2 weeks left until chop . To rectify problem I immediately cut all lights off fans stayed on and I fixed the ducting back onto extraction fan with tighs . My plants not all but 10 or so went droopy and bottom buds almost crispy , I’ve watered all 36 plants and temps are back to 50% humidity 25.3 degrees ( 72 odd f ) has anyone had this sort of fuck up and is it something I can hopefully rectify them back !! Couldn’t if happened at a worse time !! Whole grows been incredible up til this morning

Try to use the hose clamp style duct connectors next time. Tape is good for sealing the connections but it's not a good mechanical fastener for the long term.

Hopefully some of the flower finishes.
Cheers yeah they have perked back up just an absolute nightmare morning walking into that ! I’ve ended up using a belt and some of my wife’s tights for now as no hardwear shops are open because of this corona virus so it’ll have to do for next 2 weeks

Duct tape can unstick when it gets warm. Sellotape wont.
If you have to use tape then duct tape first wrapped with Sellotape after works.

Personally I use jubilee clips and then tape over them.

Not nice when your so close to the finish line to see your plants so fucked up ey.

I love that you UK guys call them jubilee clips. Is that a brand name or how did that come to be? We just call them hose clamps.

lol, I always thought it was just the name of them rather than a brand but you made me look deeper into it and I found this.

I learned something new
