Greetings fellow Maineahs'
The topic is extracts. Basically im wondering where the legal lines are and why we draw them where we do. Hash and kif are illegal because they are concentrated, processed, blah, blah. However, is mmj butter not a processed concentrated thing? Topicals? Butter is more processed than kif i would say. Personally, if i could have it my way, i would just do a couple nice dabs per day of oil, minimal smoke inhalation, and your getting just what you need from the plant, not all the garbage (hopefully). So, where do we draw the line, Are edibles and topicals illegal? Why or why not? What are other states doing? I think if 1 extract is illegal, then they all have to be. It only makes sense, however im certainly not in favor of that. If that were the case, the only safe way for a doctor to recommend using would be to vape buds....not 100% ideal. To me, at the end of the day, thc is thc. Would you rather drink a 12 oz beer or a 1.5 oz. shot? Right?
