expert tips just going into budding wanted

I am wondering if there are any things I should be doing heading into budding like trimming a certain way or any other little thing that might be bypassed by the average grower.

I like to Trim it down down to a few main branches and cut all the shit off the bottom before switching to flowering. Also for the first week, to sortve jumpstart them into flowering you could use a fertilizer with a really high P-K ratio, like advanced nutrients bud blood for example.

Okay good info so far, to follow up on hom36 do you trim all the fan leaves off to?

No, you want to keep as many fan leaves as possible because thats where the plant gets most of its energy from

I usaly trim 1 or 2 leafs that are at the bottom because of new branches growing in

Anything else anyone can think of, it doesn't have to be related to trimming, I'm looking for any small little things you can do to help you and/or your plants out.

if your using CFL you can have more lights to the plant and you can feed your plants every watering and flush once every 2 weeks.
