For awhile now I have wanted to learn a method to allow the side branches to grow faster than usual, only in the vegetative growth though. I have looked around the internet to find different methods though never found one that sparked my interest. I have tried LST, I always do the topping/ fimming, I have added extra lighting to the sides of the plants and to not one of these have I had extra ordinary growth.
So in saying this I have taken a bag seed and grown it for 3 weeks now, at 2 weeks she was already showing signs of needing food. Now I know I should wait for around 3-4 though she wanted it so I started with ¼ strength and now she is at ½ strength. (I also just fimmed her 1 day from pictures.) Grew nice and had some yellowing of the bottom so I initially cut the yellowing ones off, in doing this, for the first time I realized the side branches are growing a lot larger than the ones that have the fan leaves supporting them. So I have decided to take a chance with it because I was only using it for the leaves (dont ask), I cut off all fan leaves and will keep regimen going the same as always and see if this will hurt it or will allow amazing growth. Keep with this thread and let us see what will occur and maybe this can help anyone wanting the same effect.
I also added a picture of my most vigorous growth on a plant with 1 motnh veg, nothing but a simple topping done to her also, she is about 1 month into flowering. I have sent her into hightimes look out for her in the next issuesJ
