SideNote

Hi again all!

First time grower here...so shes about month and a half old this friday...shes about 1 foot tall...I know it looks kinda skinny and stretched...well its my first time- will be smarter next time around :)

On a positive side shes nice and green, smells good and top leaves are getting quite big :)

Havent noticed the pre-flowers yet- so what you think- is she worth to flower at all :) ?
Will there be any yield in your opinion? When to flower (i got plenty of growth room) ?
And to topp her or not to topp?

Here are the pics! (the most recent leaves on the top got burned tonight...it grew against the cfl light, "shit!")

Well if ya want a bit of honesty I'd say start another bro. Yeah its stretched a bit, its prob not gonna produce much bud at all. Also when starting from seed its best to wait for your plant to mature. You can tell when its mature when the nodes start alternating instead of growing cymetrical

At a month and a half mine looked like this. What kind of soil and nutes are you using?

mm...soil is average flower soil ...PH ~6.5 ...and nutes are four sticks for blooming flowers, that i stuck in the soil about ~1inch deep (they have N-11%; P-4,8%; K-8,5%; Mg 1,1%; B-0.01%, Cu 0,02%, Fe-0,07%, Zn-0,02%)

I think the main problem is the lights of course :)
1 150w Blended Light Mercury bulb (~3000 lumens)~4inch from plant
1 23w cfl(1400lumens) ~1,5inch from plant
1 25w cfl(1600lumens) ~1,5inch from plant

18/6 right now...transplanted 2 times ...and thats about it :)

:)

Those numbers are not percentages - they are ratios of one to the others. On your main components it would be a N-P-K of 11-8-5.

This means you have a little more than 2x as much (N) Nitrogen as (K) Potassium and the (P) Phosphorus falls right in the middle. I agree that the main problem is your lights but there is no reason to squash it and start again. There will be much to learn form flowering this plant. You will get some bud and you will have grown it. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. My first grow was only 2 plants and I killed one of them during the flowering phase. Lessons learned.

i would get some more lights or a HID light at that.. start over you could have much better plants with better lighting and nutrients also see better growth in less time!!!

but if really dont wanna start over and wanna learn some i would get some better nutrients at least a couple more CFL's about 4-6 of those 23w CFL's youll be ok but more light the better what ever fits your budget ... just make sure your room is getting fresh air and good ventilation with more lights !!!

hmm...yeah well must think about what to do. Would kinda suck to kill her now, really enjoying watching her grow, kinda bonded with her (hope its a her of course) :D Have a really shitty financial state right now, being a student and all that shit, also dont know when i can get my hands on seeds (dont wanna buy online- toll and police are fuckin crazy in my homecountry here) :).

I think im gonna turn her to 12/12 this friday and see what she`ll do in next week- if it starts showing any signs of pistils ,then ill spend some cash on 40w cfl (found it from local hardware store today) and try to bud her :) If it doesnt show anything or is a male -then i`ll kill it by the end of next week :S

I think its all about the light I have a 400 watt hps for my first grow and mine is so low and bushy there is a node like every 2 cm your spacing is like 6 inches lol
All about the lighting bro... you can get a good 400 watt hid light fro 145 on ebay free shipping its worth the extra money. you will get it back ten fold. my thinking is if im gonna risk it im gonna do it right ya know!

yeah, ur right about the last statement ...well if im gonna take the risk again, then i`ll do it the right way ,or at least better-way !

But thats hows shes doing by now...about 7weeks old...Took these pics this morning- it have got a little bushier i think and is about 18inch tall :) & 4th day on 12/12 .

Well its really nice to watch it grow, even if its not the bushiest and healthiest plants around...so im gonna keep it for couple of weeks anyways :) ...its not that bad now isnt it :/ ?

He is Talking about super cropping, intentional bending of the branches and main stem to increase yeilds. look it up on youtube there are a couple videos on there that will show you what to do
