Exhaust Needed for Small Setup

Hi,

So I have a 4x4x6.5 tent with two plants inside. They are not too large, I am only planning on getting them like 13" or so before I start flowering. I am using CFL's (Two 43 watts: one for each). I do have a small fan circulating air, and there are ventilation parts on the tent. Do I really need to install an exhaust fan with a carbon filter on this setup? Just trying to save costs, and feel that I would not really need this. Or is the carbon filter exhaust critical? Thanks.

Of course it would better with all the accessories but it's not critical... Depends on the strain and the smell though. I'm not using a carbon filter since the smell isn't that bad and it doesn't spread throughout the house from my growroom. I'd skip on the carbon filter but the intake- and exhaust-fans would be good.

I would say you need an exhaust as a minimum mate. No intake needed as you can use the negative pressure for that. You need to evacuate the air inside the tent no matter what. The air will get stale, heat will build up, humidity will rise.. not good.
