Exactly how long does flowering last?

Ok so this is my second attempt at a grow with cfl's. Didnt quite make it the last time. ha but now im a month into veg and theyre looking good. Ill be starting flowering here in a bit, but im wondering how long it lasts exactly? Does it depend on the size of your plants or the healthyness?:peace:
 
It depand more on the strain than anything. So it will take exactly as long as it does.

Indicas flower for 8-10 weeks. Sativas flower anywere from 10-14 weeks.
 
How will I know if my plants are indica or sativa? I used bagseeds that I out of good bags of weed. Would you be able to spot out if its indica or sativa? I can get a pic up real quick?
 
Most Indicas take 8 to 9 weeks, maybe ten weeks.

Sativas? from now til Christmas for most of them. LOL
 
The easiest way to tell is by looking at the fan leafs. If it has fatter fingers on them it is probably an indica. Thinner fingers mean sativa.

Indica has giant big wide broad fan leaves,
grows bushy, Stinks bad like cat shit. Averages 3 or 4 feet tall.


Sativa grows like a stalk of corn, do NOT bush out much at all, long narrow skinny leaves and gets 10 to 14 feet tall.


 
If you used bag seed, did ya smoke any of it?

If it was Indica, it was very thick smoke, very thick heavy smoke, very strong stink and had a body high too.
 
Well my stoner ass just realized they are sleeping right now. Lights get turned on at 6pm. I put some pics up then. ha Im stoned.
 
Yea I smoked it. And thats exactly what it smoked like man. So what your saying is even if Ive only vegged my plants for a month and a half and are only a foot tall or so it will still take 8-9 weeks in flowering?

still around, but you can't harvest early because the trichomes take about 8 weeks to fill up with the right kind of THC. Too early and it won't mature correctly. Just like curing afterwards, I don't smoke mine until a month after I have harvested and it's been in jars getting better and better. As it ages, the chlorophyll and other elements in the leaves and buds break down and become less obvious. that's what makes the smoke nice or harsh. Just wait as long as you can.
