Everyone's tastes are different .?

So just random thought of the day .... Best bud youu have ever smoked . Many of oh are connoisseurs . Many of you come from the glory days of the 70"s and 80"s. I ask you, when did you come across the strain that first time ? If you can remember the taste what was it . All comments welcome , even if your a beginner or a veteran of growing or smoking . Pictures welcomed .My favorite was Kali Mist which was very sweet with some SPpicy undertone in early 2001 . Never forget that high or that my mother threw away the 50$ bag I just bought after she found it . I ( I was a teenager then Peace fellas.

Back in the rego and beaster days when it was non medical, I recall getting "chocolate kush". I now highly suspect it was actually bubba kush as it was very hard hitting and smelt and tasted a lot like coffee and chocolate. Back then, any good cannabis was just given some name or "chronic". It truly was awesome bud. The other instance around the same time is when I went out to cali, scored a bag of Afghooey, it was simply amazing. Beautiful neon green, so sticky and sweet smelling. Resorted to eating the rest of a bag (a couple grams) prior to flying home as we couldn't smoke enough of it in blunts before flying out.

Negril, Jamaica 1998. Lambsbreath....had been there before so when I landed I had the cabbie drive me all over the island looking for the lambsbreath. Turned down many nice hybrids of alaskan and cambodian until we came to this really old rasta dude along the ocean south of Negril. Got a handfull, practicly a ounce of branches for $50. Buds were sativa sweet smelling but not fruity sweet. I remember smoking a doobie and ending up laying in hotel room for what felt like hours laughing at shit on tv and we were watching national geographics that wasnt funny. Super f'ing HIGH!!!
