Even numer of blades of leafs.

My friend has three different plants from three different bag seeds. Each has atleast one leaf that has an even number or blades. On has 8, a few others 6, and one with 4. Is it normal? are all three mutants? Could something he is doing to them cause them to do this?

Sure, why not? Just might be those particular plants, the number of lobes isn't set hard and fast. I mean, as long as he knows it's Cannabis of a species good for smoking.
Mutant:

 • An organism or an allele that differs from the wild type because it carries one or more genetic changes in its DNA. A mutant organism may carry mutated gene(s) (= gene mutation); mutated chromosome(s) (= chromosome mutation); or mutated genome(s) (= genome mutation). aka a variant.
 • A new organism produced by a change in the character of a gene.
 • A phenotypic variant resulting from a changed or new gene.
 • Of an organism, population, gene, chromosome, etc.: Differing from the corresponding wild type by changes in one or more loci.
 • Variant organism that differs from its parent because of mutation.
Does that help?

Yea thanks, that does help. I guess as long as mutants still produce just like a normal plant I got nothing to worry about. Its weird that all three did this, none of them are from the same bag.
