European growers

I have not noticed a thread on those growing outdoor in Europe. Consider this a start.

Due to lackluster weather this year, I've decided to trigger flowering earlier than nature wants. I carry my girls in every night to a completely dark room. I've left one alone to have something to compare to. The ones I've been taking in each night just started to flower after about two weeks of doing this. The one outside all the time is still in vegetation stage.

If you look at another post of mine. the top leaves burnt in my greenhouse. I think that's what happened, which was the reason I posted it. I wanted some feedback if anyone thought it might be something other than heat.

Here's a link to that post with some photos of the plants:

Well, I'm curious to see if we can share some stories for anyone else in Europe or if this thread is even the best way to do this on rollitup.org???

hi bro, welcome to RIU. im in europe also and as long as u go with fast flowering plants u can do a grow, but the most dificult for guerilla is to fint a sunny space and have water near and no visitors. next year i think im going for a tree grow, wich basicly means i will find a method to elevate some pots of pot 15-20m in the sky near the treetops, considering the full sun they receive from april to octomber
and the stealthiness of the idea, makes all that pregrow work and brainstorming worth while. maybe i will start a series of threads to put togheter some idea of how we could all make this sistem work for all the regions, i mean growing in the tree tops is insanely efficient, but there are a few points i have to think out...like how am i gonna put the plants up there, how do i water and things like this... peace bro, tommorow i think i will open this thread

Interesting idea. I think hidden pulleys could be used to raise the plants but there couldn't be any branches that get in its way going up and down and with respect to how big the plant could grow. You'd have to water it completely as it'd be in pots, not in the earth. Seems complicated but where there is sun, there must be a way. Good luck and keep me in the loop. I might be able to help you, at least to bounce ideas off. Good luck!

tape a couple of 5 liter water bottles (or whatever the biggest bottle you can find would be) to make a single, tall container. Find some impenetrable bushes and jam that bottle construction in the middle somewhere, close to the top of the branches, so that it can't really be seen from outside the bush, and so that it gets as much sunlight as possible. Plant your plant in that...none of the hassle involved in digging holes or finding a place that is hard to get to AND has enough sunlight/space for planting...

could also take a single bottle, paint it brown with darker streaks (for camouflage) and nail or staple it to a tree. the plant won't get big, but if you do like 20, it's definitely worth the effort.
