Hey, you said that zsweet inzanity was in your top 5 highest yielding strains, I was just wondering what your top 3 highest yielding strains are if you dont mind :)

Hum.........had to think about this for a bit but i have answered it in previous grow journals.

Kosher Kush and Holy Grail Kush were two for sure. Kushes always do really well in my style of grow. I'll have to think about the 3rd and report back later, but what's an oz here and there? In my mind, I'm looking for strains that produce over 2 lbs. a light- if I can get to there, I'm a happy guy. And I think there's been around 7-8 of them so far. Many of my threads have been deleted over the years here, but a bunch still remain and I'll have to look back for more clarity.

The key is not just weight, but quality too. And that's where the numbers tend to become exclusive. I would grow HGK almost continuously if it didn't stink so BAD. Zsweet Inzanity is so good, I will be growing it again, except for now I still have around a lb left and it will be sitting here for a while. Those two stand out in terms of weight AND quality.

I see, i see. Thanks for the clarification, the zsweet inzanity did look quite scrumtious indeed and the yield was very good, the only draw back is the crazy growth in flower. A little hard to manage with 8ft ceilings. I might just have to risk it...

The other thing I found from an old grow of was Medicine Man by Mr. Nice Seeds. It's been years but both the yield and quality were top notch. An instant favorite, but not feminized and I only do fem's these days.

Switched the lights last night so today is day 1 of flowering......which means they should be done around 3rd week of January.

Should also mention the wife is already complaining about the smell........stinky shit for sure. Means the house will be a smell bomb for Xmas, which presents a whole range of problems.

PPM has been held to around 850 ppm max so far, which seems around perfect right now. I'm impressed how healthy they appear, even with the initial Cal/Mag issues.

Hello, I was reading about the Inzanity Ethos strain you grew (I enjoy your posts as they are full of info yet to the point) and saw that you have a discount code for Ethos Seeds ?

As expected, too many people were given (and used) that code and it was cancelled. Therefore, use the code "card10" for 10% off and then pay by money order or check for another 10% off- 20% total which isn't a bad deal. If i get something better, I'll post it.

Just placed an order myself and it appears SeedsHereNow has removed the 10% discount for paying by MO/Check too, but the "Card10" is still good.

I wanted 4 packs of the new Ethos "Apex", SeedsHereNow.com only had 2 packs left. So on to www.getseedsrighthere.com, another broker for Ethos out of Denver. SeedsHereNow is out of Oregon. GetSeedsRightHere normally has better stock on the Ethos gear, but no discount and free shipping- $100 a pack. So I'm set for my next crop after the Chem OG.

P.S. Should also mention GetSeedsRightHere.com usually throws in some freebies, sometimes some high end, quality seeds available on the site. SeedsHereNow NEVER gives out freebies, except when they are running promotions, which is often.

I still haven't staked the plants, hope it's not a mistake. They are NOT supposed to get "too" tall, so I'm torn. I'll revisit in a week or so.

Week 1 flowering done, things progressing nicely. I did remove 1 plant and isolated it as something is going on but I can't figure it out. It's had some distortion on it's leaves- I've looked at it daily for bugs, mites, etc, on it but still can't find the issue- no bugs, eggs, trails, etc. I sprayed it down last night with PureCrop1 again, I'll give it a few days and then decide whether to chop it or put it back in the room.
Smelly shit for sure, my Big Blue ozonator is cranking, and it's a daily fight. When my house heat come on, there is a wave of stink that encompasses the first 2 floors of the house- my top floor (bedrooms) has its' own second system. PPM is around 900, pH is being maintained at 6.2-6.3.

I also purchased my seeds for the next crop, Ethos "Apex" which is a hybrid of Lilac Diesel X Mandarine Cookies- a high yielding new strain recently introduced. Seed re-sellers are supposed to have it in stock this week. Also saw Ethos is supposed to release some new non-feminized strains in December, no interest to me but they might to some of you.

Wave of stink has got to be a future strain name! I am curious if there is any variation in size and structure of this strain. Apex! Was wondering what one of the zillion new ethos strains you'd fancy next. Noticed their IG feed has a lot more repost from small growers. That company really is working on all fronts to attract buisness, autos, regs, old school skunks & crosses named after sweet food stuff! your quarantined case sounds intriguing. Hopefully just a beautiful mutant!

First time checking out your grow here, everything looks good! Had a couple questions....

A) You don't use carbon filter & or intake/exhaust fans? Just cause you mention the smell issues.
B) I see you feed 850-900 ppm, is that every watering? If you use tap what is your starting PPM ? How much run off do you shoot for?
C) What light are they under, and for VEG, what light shed did you use?

I have a feeling this info was dropped on your previous grows, hence most followers are aware already, so I apologize!

Look forward to the next 2 months here

Read the entire thread, everything is answered above or in my last Ethos Zsweet Inzanity grow, also posted on RIU.

But, for ease:
1. I have a 10 inch exhaust system hooked up to a powerful exhaust fan, being run thru a Big Blue ozone device to outside. For Inside circulation, I have a large floor fan.
2. I only use reverse osmosis water, as my well water is of very poor quality. I fertilize every watering, every 2-3 days. The ppm of the plain water going in is less than 30 ppm. I slowly have been raising the ppm and will top out around 1000 ppm in flowering. I have never, in 30+ years of growing had to check the runoff pH. I can read what a plant needs or doesn’t just by looking at them.
3. The room has two 1000 watt high pressure sodium bulbs. I use the same bulbs for the entire grow, switching them out after 2 complete grows.

My only other comments are I think carbon filters suck, not worth the money at any price. I use iPower bulbs, cheap and good quality. I also use iPower ballasts. I use Botanicare fertilizer, G.H. PH up and down, Flying Skull Z7 enzymes, many different manufacturers Cal/Mag. The odor device is to control the outside the house smell and only works so-so to control the inside issues. Nothing I’ve ever tried can completely control the inside smell, as I leave the room door ajar because of heat buildup when closed.

Skid, the Chem Og is very uniform. The right side of the room is slightly taller, that’s because the shield on that side is more efficient at getting light downward. I’ve pretty much decided I’ll just kill off the odd plant. It was already the runt of the litter, so it probably deserves to go anyway.

Damn thanks for the heads up. Yeah I maintain negative pressure in my cab, but I can still slightly smell it. Last few grows my ph has been fucked, so other than the grow not turning out great, the smell didn’t come either. How much smell does that big blue ozone eliminate?
