I want to know if anyone has used estrogen on female plants. The question is will estrogen in my feeding schedule will help flowering plants. Will it promote larger buds? More potent buds?

No and I never even thought about it. Suffice to say all I need are all those bitches PMSing at me.... I'd have to walk into my flower room with a sharpened machete for protection. nah.. and let's keep antibiotics away from them too!

Hmmmm. Interesting question, after reading this I did a little research and I guess there are many different types of phytoestrogen found in plants. The study was not canna specific but it would be interesting if someone did a a grow with what your proposing.
Wiki has a pretty good read on it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phytoestrogens

There is absolutely no reason to believe it would have any beneficial effect whatsoever. Isoflavones and other 'phytoestrogens' are produced by some plants, not all. The biological interest primarily revolves around how they affect mammals (including humans), with their role in plants being for defense. Did you read the article?

It's a long shot for "larger, more potent buds". There are easier, more practical and obvious ways. Look into harpin protein, for instance, they have products for plants based on that.

Yes, I did in fact read the article. In my post that is a total of 2 sentences,I have read it over and over and don't see where I have implied this would either work or not work, But I did however say it would be interesting irregardless of results and merely posted a fact page about phytoestrogen in plants not the effects it produces. In research one must first start with the basic functionalities of it in a plant to decide what and if anything could be manipulated for benefit.I apologize if I came across as illiterate or just posting random gibberish I didn't feel applied to the basis of the thread. Have a nice day.-SOHIGH-
