Is there a ballpark estimate? For instance, if a bud weighs 6g wet, about how much should it weigh when properly cured?

I usually do 70-80% loss of weight... so 1.2-1.8 grams from 6.

The final bud weight is around 20%, 10% plant material 10% water, the other 80% is lost as water leaves the bud during drying.
The humidity will add or knock off a couple percent to stabalize the bud with the natural atmospherical conditions, we could guess a more humid area the bud would stabalize at 22% final weight and a dry area 18% -dosent make a whole lot of difference really just a minute detail boveda like to embelish as if it makes or breaks the cure.
The op's wording is wrong, its not what it weighs when cured - curing comes after drying and these figures are for drying only as if you jar bud with excess moisture you will realise just how quickly the taste turns to dirt in the cure.

Organic loses 50%, chemical weed loses 80%. More goodies less room for water. Less goodies more room for water.
Maybe that's why chemical growers don't flush, because nutes have weight (quantified and proven by distilling all active ingredients and weighing the remaining plant matter). That's definitely why they keep their weed moist, because they don't have any oily goodness to keep the buds "dank"
