Equiptment in house the law

If i use the same equiptment you guys do for growing cactus. And the police hear from an informant that there is a grow. Or they do a FLIR flyover. Can they try to pin a conspiracy charge on me. When there is no illegal drugs in the house or growing?

If they show up it will look like a grow. But I am not growing anything inside my house that is illegal.

They would have to find something related to cannabis growing to b able to do anything.
 
I eared a few urban legend about Granny having their door's kicked & their home invaded by DEA only to find a tomato & cucumber grow-up & the cops having to apologize or being sued or else , but I believe they were just urban legend. FLIR would detect large grow-up easily but it's less efficient for 1 or 2 lights & useless against CFL or LED. Around here the power company are installing new intelligent power meter that will collect power usage data & consumption I would fear those thing if i was plug on the grid cause they can check thing like light cycle just as easily as they can be use to prepare your power bill.
 
I grow flowers, veggies, lettuce, you name it all year long inside. No law says you can not, at least here in the states.

Seriously? If you have nothing illegal then why worry? Best make sure you have NOTHING illegal in that house- including illegally copied software, movies or music as well. Not saying you do, but just be safe! Oh, and if you are posting this as a 'smokescreen' or diversion attempt, that's not a good idea. If word got out that you *were* growing something illegal than all the cactus in the world isn't going to help you. If they DO show up and have a signed warrant you'd better let em in, or they WILL kick your doors down, and act all gun-ho stupid like they always do. Otherwise, relax! ;)
 
FLIR can see LED and CFL grows just as well as HPS and MH grows. For some unknown reason people beleive that CFL and LED don't give off infrared radiation, they do, SHIT TONS OF IT. FLIR sees infrared, not just heat. They need a Warrant to use FLIR on your home here in the USA, a person would have to sign a affidavit attesting to have seen illegal plants growing in your home in order for them to get a warrant.

No urban legend, these are real stories because cops lie to get warrants signed. They will spot something suspicious with FLIR but that's not enough PC to get a warrant so they claim there was an anonymous tip or some shit.
 
I once watched police show up while the occupant wasn't home one night, kick in his townhouse door across the parking-lot, then later found out that they claimed that they noticed the door was ajar, went in to investigate, and stumbled across a ton of stolen liquor/cigarettes..My buddy was rather pleased though.. He said this dude was a real dick who would scream and throw bottles at little kids playing in the parking lot etc..
