does anyone know if those huge, cfl envirolight things screw into a regular lamp socket like the regular cfl's, or does the envirolight have its own deal?


appreciated in advance.

it uses E40 same as hps just without the ballast as they self ballast. Just buy a evirolight hanger £6 on ebay.

i know you can get other brand 125w and 150w CFLs that use normal light sockets, not sure about the 200w+ though.

where in the world can you buy these other than online. been to homedepot- no good
went to lowes- no good.

got to find these lights without the paper trail.

dont have one of those to my knowledge, ill google map it.
ive got one hydro shop about 30 minutes from where i live. they are open 3 days a week, tue-thurs.
so i cant call them and find out until then. should a decent hydroponic store carry envirolites?

Dunno, never been to one...but I went to menards and got a 200 watt cfl with 2700 lumens for 7 bucks. It fits any standard base...they also had cfl's like youre describing, but all were mogul base.
