Enough Airflow?

:arrow:I have a 6ft tall 3ft wide, 20" deep cabinet with a 50 cfm exhaust fan, small computer fan and 4" desk fan for intake.
Do i need a passive intake or anything else? it is staying around 80 degree F. I see movement amongst the plants so there is air flowing over them.

thats ok, 50 cfm is about the minimum you would want for that space. cooler temps would be a bit better, a passive intake would help with that. you will also want more air movement to help strengthen your stems.

Thank You, I have moved the 4" fan over the plants for strenthening the stems and added a passive intake. I cut a 3x5" hole in thge bottom rear.

in adding...
and of course you need to know that usually passives should be twice the size of your exhaust. If your exhausting a 6" fan, then you would need 12" of passive intakes.

My exhaust fan is about 5" but the fan itself exhausts through a 3" hole. I have a pic of it linked up there http thingy. I have a 4-3" reducer and 4" flex attached to it. Question, i am exhausting into my room cause the smell is not an issue...is smell the only reason we exhaust? or do we exhaust to exchange the air inside? My passive intakes are 2x4" holes cut in the bottom on each side of my computer intake fan. I also have a 4" fan in the middle of my cabinet blowing fresh "room" air into the cabinet. I attached a box with several 1" holes cut in it on the back of the cabinet to keep light in and quiet the sound a toon. I am hoping that is ok. Or should i put a fan inside the cabinet to circulate the air inside the cabinet? Or mabe move the 4" fan down to the bottom where the computer fan is?
