I've grown numerous things from DNA/Reserva Privada (same co basically) and have never been disappointed. TGA, IMO is better for flavor and smell, not as much for potency. A few months ago a buddy and me started making a list of everything I've grown out- breeder by breeder- and we stopped at 84 strains. This is over 14 years, but I've been growing since 1988 or so- and out of those 84, I'd only consider growing about 10-12 of them again.

Don't really care that this question is off topic but most here are well aware that 20, 30 or 40 dollars a seed is ludicrous so, which 10-12 strains would you grow again? And more importantly from what era? E.g the Kali Mist I grew from Simon from Serious in 1997 was INCREDIBLE!!! But today it's just average. I'm sure you know what I'm saying. Look forward to hearing a response and perhaps taking a stroll down memory lane with ya.

*Edit-I think it was 97 Kali. It could have been 98 or 99 but it was somewhere around there. Heh.

i liked ES " ok "but never got it to be as potent as i heard it was

i did have an ES sample once that was outstanding..

kali mist was wonderful..it just does not appear to be as wonderful now

my cousin loved it..then got more neas yeas later..uh uh..not that it wasn't still pretty good

in my opinion..when somebody ends up standardizing a strains to "be consistant"

it becomes more consistant than potent..if you have one great clone and self that all the time

then it stays good..if you make an f1 cross and it's awesome..you must keep the same two plants and only use them..

its just my own opinion..standardization and consistancy have their pitfalls

No reason to talk about things we can't grow anymore, since they are not available. In no particular order, these are strains I have grown and do go back to them once in a while to do again. Many of my grows are available under sshz or thegambler at numerous sites.....

1. Sweet Seeds "Green Poison"
2. DNA "Holy Grail Kush"
3. Breeders Choice "Anethesia"
4. Eskobar "Chocolate Rain"
5. Barney's Farm "Critical Kush"
6. Vision Seeds "Northern Lights"
7. Reserva Preserva "Kosher Kush"
8. Breeders Boutique "The Dog" ( regular seeds, not the fem's)

I think this is a good list to start- they all offered high potency, good weight and not difficult grows. All fem seeds, except the last one listed. I've had excellent results with everything listed above. I would have also listed things from Gage Green or Bodhi but they are always out of stock and never seem to be available.

Numerous times, when I've gone back to grow things again, the strains won't be as good. This has to do with breeders running out of seeds and having to go back and remake them, sometimes as F2's. Unless they've kept the original mothers/fathers alive, it would be difficult to replicate the exact strain again.

A better question would have been what I would "not have grown again" and why........

They only have pitfalls in small plant populations. Unfortunately that is what we are left with in the current environment.

Anesthesia is regular as well and it's not available currently unfortunately. A nice line.
You are correct, I forgot about that one. It's a staple...it will be back in stock. I've emailed them to find out when. My only complaint with the Anethesia was it grew incredibly slow in veg but it turned out to be super potent, a great strain IMO.....

I just went into flowering with their Mad Kush, 24 plants doing mighty fine. I bought the last few packs and they were out, but back in stock within 2 weeks.

Dr. Gruber recently completed a 2 plant grow of E.S. and had it tested. It looked great in the end, and it came back at around 19% THC. He had some minor grow issues with them but it worked itself out. I was never happy with mine, go figure.
